***Sleepy Saturday Roll Call***
Ooh.. I know that can be bad - Mark wound up in the hospital for 48 hours on IV antibiotics - tried to get one of our cats (the one we call pissy cat - there's a reason) to the vet - 20 min of trying to get the cat in the carrier... then mark grabbed him, he bit him and the following morning he had a baseball mitt were his hand used to be.. right to the ER we went!

Finished my gawd-forsaken training this morning. I HATE that yearly training!!! It's 2+ hours of telling us how stupid and deceitful we are. I lock my mouth shut and doodle to keep myself from going nutz on the trainer.
Found out I get inspected on Tuesday or Wednesday. No big deal, but, more "fun" to look forward to.
Then we hit a few stores. Got some great proteins for meals this week. They have this pulled pork in the freezer section and it's packaged single serving size-4 to a box. CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THOSE! Got some shrimp, tyson precooked chicken, stuff for crustless pizza, crab meat...mmm
One of my girls had a friend over and lookin' to have another over tonite. More girls in the house...husband LOVES it!
No curling up to watch tv last night. It was "National Tap Dance Day" and there was an event I took the girls to. There was a clown there and she came over and had a talk with my oldest about how your mom will always be your best friend. Even when they make impossible rules and seem mad, blah, blah, blah. She also talked to her about choosing your friends wisely. It seemed like I planted her there after the last week I've had with her. So, it was nice to see someone saying all the same things I say and having her listen.
Anyway, so, tonight I hope to curl up with the girls and watch a movie. Tis' my therapy after a long week.

Well...you basically know what happened early in the day - I stopped by Lisa's house to pick up stuff...got home...then talked to Nicole about her freak cat incident. Nicole - make sure you keep me posted. And if you end up losing the finger, you never spoke to me, ok? lol
Got some sleep - but after about 4 hours I was apparantly done with that. Woke up to an empty house yet again....Brian apparantly went to a friends house impromptu. Earlier in the week he went to his parents house. A note either time? Ha!
So...I've been playing Reba on my ipod home speakers (Brian HATES country...so this is the perfect time) and just chilling at home.
Back to work at Sacred Heart tonight. We were fairly busy there last night...WTF? That is supposed to be my job where I don't work, lol
Best thing about tonight is it is my last of 5 in a row.
Meeting up with a friend in the morning after I get off shift for some catching up time, which I am sooooo ready for! It seems like we've only had time to chat via texts lately due to opposing work schedules, so face to face conversation will be freaking awesome!
Eric, hope you got a nap in today. I know what it's like to work all night without one...blech! And keep it down to a dull roar tonight, would ya? I like you and all - but would prefer to NOT do anything at work tonight!

Just getting around to today's posts and stuff... Had a wonderful time hosting the cooking class. As always, what a fun group of people! It was great meeting Pam (rock) and Maura's husband, Mark, who will hereafter be dubbed "Master of the Grill" hehe. Eddie hung around and socialized (that's a tough thing for him to do - certainly doesn't come naturally) and helped out ... at one point he said to me in a surprised voice "wow, you DO have fun at these, don't you?" My response was "Yeah, but this is a pretty tame one - you should see it when Pam, Eric, Steffi, Nicole, and Liz are all in the room!"
So now I'm relaxing for a bit and will then get my packing done for Boston. Leaving tomorrow around 11:30ish, get back Wednesday night. Unfortunately, we're driving (a coworker and I) and taking the company car (which sucks). Fortunately, I get to see my nephew while I'm up there.

Have a good trip and thanks again Karen. Mark likes the Master of the Grill monicker and he said he was glad he came and that the food was awesome. I too am heading out tomorrow - flying to nashville for work - through thursday, then to baltimore where mark will pick me up and we head to DC for memorial day weekend - and to celebrate our anniversary on 5/28.
I have to pack two bags tomorrow - one to go with Mark and one to go with me....
can't wait to finish that avocado lime yumminess...
