I went to see Kelly Jo last night about 6:30, she was wide awake and looking fabulous! She didnt look like she had surgery just a few hours before. She says she is doing well, not much pain, and can't wait to drink her water today! She's in very good spirits!
Topic: Hi my friends!
Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I have been lurking around the board and trying to keep up with everyone. Congrats to all of you on all your recent successes! I am so happy for you, truly I am!!
As for me, things are going well. We moved a few weeks ago and I am loving the new place. My kids love their new school so that is a huge relief as well.
On the WLS front, I have been working with an endocrinologist to try and get my TSH (thyroid) level stabilized so I can reschedule my surgery. Yesterday I found out that my TSH went from a 22 (which it was the day they cancelled my surgery) to a 6.4! Woo hoo! The highest it is supposed to be is 5.5, so I'm not sure if Dr. G will schedule me now or not, but if she won't, I figure one more med change and I am there and ready
Sooooo, hopefully I will be back on track and on my way to surgery very soon!!!
Take care everyone and I hope to see you at the new Living Life meeting!!!
