I know alot of us here on OH are also friends on FB. I started to use the FB application called "My Diet" and I really like it to track my food and exercise/activity. Up until now I had not been doing that and I KNOW if I do that I will do better overall with my weight loss and maintainance. Kelly Jo and I are support buddies there and we'd like to invite all of you on FB to join us, if you'd like!

Hi Everyone!
I haven't posted in a long time...sorry.
Welcome to all you wonderful newcomers! Hope to see you here often and meet you soon!
Things have been really changing in the Nolan house!
My daughter, Jessica, got married, we're doing home renovations, my son, Brian, graduated high school & my daughter, Michelle, moved out to connecticut with family. And that's just the start!
Frankly, my life has been a whirlwind and so have my emotions!
Planning Jessie's wedding then watching this beautiful woman walk down the aisle was just magic! The wedding went well. The families get along great! We had a great time!
Our home is always in renovation flux! Our dining room was finally completed in time for the wedding so now we are onto the next project...who knows what that'll be. Maybe Michelle's room will become my craft room. Hmmm.
Brian graduated high school. This has been a big deal for him. He's 20. He has severe adult ADHD so it's taken a long time for him to get/keep things on task enough to actually graduate. He could have gone the GED route but decided that his actual HS diploma was more important. I'm very proud of him.
Michelle is our youngest of six. My sons Brian & Jordan live in Connecticut so Chelle has decided to live with them now that she is done with school. This has been a big emotional subject because...well...she's my baby.
So, after 26 years of being a mom/mommy...I have an empty nest. With that comes a lot of emotions that I'm dealing with.
Eating is tough for me right now because of it. Seems when I'm stressing, pouchy is grouchy. The things I can normally eat, especially meats, are difficult to hold down or cause me discomfort. I find myself eating a lot more carbs right now (they are more mushy) so I've begun recording everything I eat again to keep track of my calories and protein. At least this gives me something to focus on.
So, although a lot of Life's curves being handed to me are positive, it's change and change is stressful. Time to refocus and discover!
I'm happy to be back to posting again. I've missed you all!
