Hey Cyn!

Congratulations on your success! I'm very proud of you!

Once we are in maintenance, it's hard to keep that scale moving. The less we weigh, the slower the weight loss. Which means we have to move more to burn off the unwanted calories and weight.

The good thing is that now we have a tool! We just need to get back to or stay with the basics. Calories in...calories out.

You've come a long way baby!!! Nice to see you celebrating your accomplishments! Good For You!

Jules

It was two years ago yesterday I had my surgery! I have had zero complications! I have lost 104 pounds and have remained the same weight for the last year! I would like to lose about 15 more pounds, but it won't budge.! Having this surgery was the best thing I could have ever done!!!!

Topic: Eat An Elephant ! AND 2011 Support Group Calendar!

Hello My Wonderful Friends!!!

So, how many New Year's Resolutions have you made in the past? How many have you actually been able to keep?

Well, I am, personally, NOT going to make a New Year's Resolution for 2011! I'm, instead, making a New ME resolution to A.C.E. my post bariatric surgery program!

I WILL...

A - Attend Support Group Meetings Regularly

C - be Conscious of Everything I Put Into MY Mouth

E - Exercise (a.k.a. PLAY 30 minutes each day)

There will ALWAYS be this elephant in my room...staring right at me!

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! Tail to Trunk or Trunk to Tail. One small bite at a time!

I WILL...

Take this journey One Day / One Bite at a time!

Please see my profile pictures for the most up-to-date Rhode Island Bariatric (Weight Loss Surgery) Support Groups available to us! There is also a 2011 calendar for easy reference.

Contact me Any Time if you want me to email you another version. I have Word Doc and pdf available!

Happy New Year and New You!

Jules

Hey Becky!

An average low fat / healthy meal has around 300 cals and the fat content should not exceed 5-10% of your calories.

If you choose any of the Smart Ones or Lean Cuisines. You will be within the 'guidelines'. No worries.

James has an excellent suggestion too. I found that making my own meals during the pre-op stage was much more enjoyable because I could control the Cals, Fat & Carbs as well.

Hey,,,,hit a meeting for more suggestions!

Hugz!
