I'm only 6 days out...but if you read my enthusiastic post above...I'm on a high!
(I've also got 23 years of sobriey under my belt and 20 years smoke free...so I was stubborn with food & exercise myself!)

We've got Holidays...always a tough time of year...attending many parties? (it's OK-just be careful)
Are you walking or doing any other types of exercising? (if not, get your butt out there!)
Are you logging all your foods to see WHAT you are actually putting into your body? (if not, START!)

Biggest thing, don't beat yourself up...but look, listen and learn....look at what you're doing, listen to your body & your head...and don't let it play games with you...the heads are sneaky that way ....and learn from what you see and what it's telling you...back to basics sounds like a plan to visit again....

OMG...when I got out of the shower this afternoon...I'M IN THE 200's!!!! 299...did you get that?

TWO HUNDRED NIETY-NINE

OMG...I have not seen the 200's in....13-14, maybe 15 years...HOLY **** I'm a  f***king miracle!

I have officially lost:
95# since my peak a year ago (394)
8# since surgery SIX days ago (307)
25# since my high low-range pre-surgery (range for last month or two was 320-324)
18# since my low low-range pre-surgery (lowest I got was 317)

81# Since I met w/Doctor and Nutritionist in January at the beginning of the journey....(380)

To top it off...I went out today....stopped by work for about an hour...shopped at Harbor Freight Tools, BJ's Wholesale, gassed up, Christmas Tree Shops, the mall for Sears & JC Penny, stopped at Post Office, then to Walmart & finally Aldi Food Store....so I got about 2 hours of walking in today I figure...and hell I'm beat! Going to sleep very well tonight!

I've gotten in 82 g of protein, 54 oz of fluids and I'm not done yet!

This is going to be an AWESOME ride!

Greetings fellow RI'ers...One year ago I topped out at 394...from January thru October I went from 380 to a 320-324 range (thanks to Heather at Nutrition Inc for guidance!) till my food funeral prior to pre-op diet (330), pre-op diet I got back down to 320 the 1st week & down to 307 day of surgery and today I'm 5 days out, back to surgery weight after blimping up from 307 to 321 w/all the fluids I was being filled with (had an issue voiding the first couple days)...all's flowing well now...maybe a little too well...sorry, TMI!!!

I'd like to thank Julie Nolan for stopping by while I was at RWMC...I work in S Attleboro and one of my customers came in with the article from the Pawtucket Newspaper about her....I had intended to introduce myself here on OH.com, but she beat me to it! I also look forward to attending some of the support groups as I progress along this journey to a better, healthier me!

I'm soooo looking forward to next Wednesday, the start of week 2...yogurt, eggs, soup, pudding....no cottage cheese...more yogurt!

I'm amazed at my early progress. Surgery date was 12/7/2010, and I have already lost 5 pounds! I noticed my pajamas are not tight in the waist and less tight in the arms. Looking forward to more progress... Hoping to lose 10 lbs by the time I go back to work in early January!

Congrats to all you awesome people who look absolutely amazing....
