I had the same issue with Cigna/Tufts. After many calls, I found Dr Alexander Scagnelli on Centreville Rd in Warwick RI. He was super nice. Ph# (401) 821-4100. Hope this helps anyone trying to find a provider.

I don't know specifically, but if it were me, I'd just call around to the offices. If one says "no", then ask them if they know.

Does anyone know which doctor's accept Tricare here in Rhode Island? Trying to find out which surgeons accept it so I can research a bit before going to my PCM for a referral out to one. Thanks!

Hi glad to have you back up here. Dr Dean Roye has a wonderful team in RI hospital, he did my BPD biliopancratic diversion (which is a different version of a RNY), he was the best. I highly recommend him. I am not aware that he sells any products though.
Dr Pohl I wonder about, I know there are many people who swear he's great but before he went into this field my husband was a patient of his. Without getting to involved he did a proceedure on my husband in the office that he didn't do correctly. My husband was rushed into the hospital bleeding out and immediately went into surgery. I don't like him.

It's a test to see if your pouch is still working as it was intended to. If you google it, you should be able to find it. I have seen people on here mention it before but since i haven't done it I don't want to tell you the details in case I am not right!
