I have gotten all of my other testing done but now I am having a hard time finding someone to do the Psych Evaluation for me without having to pay for it out the nose. My BS office suggested the RI hospital group but the problem there is that they want to do a 2-3 hour evaluation then a 45 minute evaluation. My insurance (TUFTS) will pay for the psych evaluation but only if they are in 45 minute sessions and the RI Hospital group is not willing to break it up.  So the woman at intake told me it would cost me $400! I mean really, I told her that the proof that I am mentally sound is in the fact that I think it's crazy to pay $400 for someone to say yes, you are fit for surgery.  My BS also said it has to be a letter from a Psychiatrist not a Psychologist. Soooo.... that being said, I am on the hunt. HAs anyone had the same issue or know of a Psychiatrist that will see me and be willing to break up the sessions. I have called a few Dr's but they either aren't taking new patients or dont' take my insurance.

Sorry Jaime.. on the bright side you really rocked your band!!  I was under the impression that bands did not really have a honeymoon period and that was more of an RNY thing because of malabsorption??  Still even with the gain you have done weel with the band.  You can get back on the train!!

Go see your doctor!! maybe you need an adjustment!!
