I would suggest Dr Roye. He did my RNY but I know he also does Lap-Bands as well. I can tell you you that he is a fantastic doctor and very caring about all of his patients. He will always take the time to listen to any concerns you may have and will always take the time to answer any questions that you may have as well. He is part of University Surgical Associates, but is in the part of the group that works out of Rhode Island Hospital. If you have any questions about him please feel free to send me a message. Topic: Need a new Doctor
So I am beyond pissed off right now!! My doctor cancelled my fill today for the 3rd time in a row and they wont give me another appt for 3 weeks!!! I've needed a fill for months I've gained 25 lbs and i'm really frustrated! I think it's time to end my relationship w/ this Doctor. So anyone know of a good Lapband doc near pawt. RI checked the web but they're aren't many!

glad to hear you are home..and feeling better... i, myself had a long plateau...felt like i wasn't moving..that 1pound loss every 3 weeks was annoying..but i always looked at it as a LOSS!!! not a gain! lol and to top it off, when i am so close, i feel...yet so far!!!!
just keep up the good work, and you will get there! i am cheering you on!!
and by all means... you can vent anytime...it's good for all of us...lol

Way to go..............I have been at the same weight since X-mas and really getting frustrated now. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and came home 10 lbs heavier than when I went in!!!!! Water weight but still...........(have lost it all since, than God!) I can't excersize for at least 4+ more weeks so I'm sitting on my A@@ and hardly moving. Luckily my appetite hasn't increased from boredom. I'm gonna try to venture out today but know that wherever I go I have to get back!!! I have 10-20 lbs until goal. I would like to get there before my son's wedding in August!!! Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. See you guys on facebook~~~~~~~Kim
