Well, take a look at what has been going on in your life the last 6 weeks.  You have been going through a ton of changes!  I know I have had my ups and downs with my sex drive, before and after surgery.  One thing that helps is deciding in the morning that "I will have sex today", and spend the day mentally preparing, fantasizing, etc.  It may sound corny, but reading a romance novel, or "gasp"   watching a sexy movie can help kick start that "lovin'" feeling.  Sometimes sex takes work.  It will be worth it in the end!!

Good Luck!

Fat stores hormones, so it's logical that when we lose fat, we lose hormones too.
But the body will compensate when your weight stablizes,

Heck no.  My sex drive is on overlead. You are going through a lot of changes.  It will get better.  In the meantime, HERE is a great article written by the awesome Mary Jo Rapini that might help.

I've had no sex drive since surgery. I feel like it's probably because of all I've been through over the last two and a half months and all the changes I've been through. I believe it will get better. I used to have a very healthy sex life with my husbad.

Had no drive for a while post-op and find it takes a little extra "mental work" now. And lube. Have patience with your body as it's going thru major changes.

I was hoping losing weight would help with my sex drive. I'm on prozac which doesn't help and then I take depot-provera for treatment of endometriosis and as birth control. Both of those things lower sex drive. Oh man my poor husband.

Aww Im sorry to hear this but once you get stablized it will come back. The first 6weeks I had no interest in sex.  It was b/c i felt bloated still and very sore. Now I am like a horny teenager. I want it all the time.. lol
