Not normal. Is it a pressure feeling!? Could be a stricture.   The way that you are now retmrouted along with the new pouch means that you have very little acid if it all in your new pouch BUT when you overfill the pouch it sends the same signal to the brain that would happen if you had reflux. If you
Are feeling pressure and things aren't going down, You may have a stricture.

It takes awhile for everything (yes including water sipping to settle down)...After several months I'm still on a very bland diet and at times react to simple herbs and seasoning. I find that I also need to have some quiet time (about 5-10 minutes) before eating or I'm liable to get sick...maybe it's mental but I now wait a few minutes after sitting down to eat before eating...Hope this helps you but it will get better over time...
