SUPERBOWL party, food ideas
So, I am invited to a superbowl party. well, more of a small get-together. I would like to bring something that I can actually eat. Typically superbowl foods are things like wings, nachos, chips with dip, mozzerella sticks etc...I am 2 months out and I want to be able to eat something while I am there and I am not going to start eating anything bad but it's hard to be the only one sitting there eating nothing. I did that through Thanksgiving and Christmas (well Hanukkah) as I had just had my surgery at that time. Anyway, does anyone have suggestions regarding suitable healthy foods that can be brought without looking too weird? They do know I am on a "diet" but, they don't know I had surgery.

Take some lunch meat and cheese rollups. Pork rinds for something crunchy, dipped in a little onion dip won't kill you. Some beef jerky.

Costco has snap pea crisps that are high in protein and kinda melt in your mouth! I have had a few a day to satisfy the need to crunch!
Deviled eggs are usually awesome. :)

Do caprese skewers maybe (mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, drizzle of pesto or balsamic) or add some meat for antipasto skewers or deviled egg footballs: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2015/01/eggfa ce-ideas-for-big-game-pinterest.html I pinned a few ideas.
