I am on day 2 of 5 of my pre-op liquid diet. I am miserable!! I am at work and I am feeling super weak, lightheaded and I just want to go home but I don't have any time to use and they are telling me to just stick it out! I don't know what to do.

Warm clear broth is your best friend right now.  It will help tremendously.

You can do it! The pre-op diet is the worst. It will be over soon and it will be worth it!

I wouls always tell myself hunger is just temporary and that I am stronger than this.  Day 2-4 is rough but for you you'll be done ASAP!  Most people do it for 2 weeks!  Hang in there!

be drinking broth, tea, and what ever else is on your plan CONSTANTLY. Don't let your cup/ glass ever be empty.

I would drink 5-6 cups of broth one behind the other and eat a whole large package of jello if necessary,in one sitting.

Based on what Folks are saying and my pre-research this might be a good product for you.  I was planning on having some on stdby for after my surgery...protein powder chicken soup.  The reviews for it are really good...

My mom had to do her liquid diet for 13 days. She experienced all that you are. She felt weak and lightheaded. Stick it out, I promise, you will be so proud and thankful you did. There is a LOT of importance in the liquid diet and your surgeon can tell when he/she goes in if you stuck to it or not. You only have 3 days left, you can do it. You got this! Keep it in the back of your mind what you are doing this for. If you need any help or just need to talk through anything, just message me and I'll help any way I can :)
