What's on Your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Oh my gosh! How do you keep from eating pizza when the rest of the family is eating it! I have had pizza once since surgery (3 months out) and I made sure that one of the pizzas ordered was a thin crust with one meat topping. Then I ate two small slices minus the top crust part. I was TOTALLY stuffed. Not something I would do very often but I love pizza so much I could NEVER have bean burrito filling when everyone else was eating pizza. You are a rock star!

Good morning JB and menu friends!! Love the prolific use of p's
QOTD: still a newbie here. I am not a fan of the sweet varieties of protein drinks. I like to add unflavored protein to warm broths/stocks. Have to be careful that the broth isn't too hot or you'll have a mess. Trying to save it by using a blender only creates a foamy mess, so don't go there.
5+ months post-op entering week 4 of a stall :(

So long for about a week--on vacation. I'll keep up as much as possible for support but not sure if I'll have time to post. As always, honest with MFP!!

Morning everyone! Enjoy getting you hair cut today JB! Ithers talking about there hair doesn't bug me-- but I am thankful I don't have to worry about that awkward syltylist relationship :-)
I've been on my run, showered, dressed and am at bowling. No plans for today-- hubby is taking a professional exam-- for his medical information technology certification. He's done well on husband practice tests so I expect he'll knock it out of the park. It's supposed to rain later-- every time I debate washing my car rain is in the forecast.
Qotd: I don't experiment-- to me shakes are supposed to come packed so that I don't have to put thought into it. I only use syntrax chocolate with fairlife mills and a dash of PB2. Tastes like chocolate milk :-)

mmmmm Bourbon chicken chunks. That is some good stuff. Do you make yourself or purchase?

I love your shiny gorgeous long hair Peachpie I'm in awe that you do that yourself especially the ombré color !
My post op hair right now is a ratty mess but thank God it's wash- and wear ringlets so I can look ok without making a final decision to do a few hair stressing extensions to even it out or just cut it off into layers risking my career .
( I'm nowhere near pretty enough to work without long blond hair lol)
im hoping I get a job that makes the decision for me and pays for the transformation ( you know the second I do something and get hired they're going to want to undo it lol) It doesn't help that I have " Dominican " hair but no ancestry so I can't even claim the excuse don't touch my head my hair is fragile lol.
it probably doesn't help that I eat low fat
breakfast - 4 ounces extra light sharp cheddar
chai tea lattes with skim milk and Truvia
midmorning snack - half a bag sweet kale chopped salad with cranberries and pumpkin seeds in fat free homemade peanut sauce ( warm) made with chicken broth scallions ginger powdered peanut butter and mushroom soy sauce ) With rotisserie chicken breast in fat free " coconut " Thai green curry sauce again 2 minutes to make at home .
Its crappy out so probably no running ( yesterday was gorgeous but of course I had to work) . La fitness sent me a free invitation but I hate their cold-ass seventy five degree pool grr . I might have to invest in a wetsuit to swim and I don't even know where my underwater i pod is residing grr.
How about cathartic house cleaning as exercise? I washed that man right out of my hair .. now let me wash my sheets and floors :)
