Beside miralax or any other things to help BM - please don't forget minerals - salt+ magnesium + potassium- really really critical to prevent muscle cramps. Electrolytes + water. Really important.
FYI: if you do get muscle cramps- don't forget the diet tonic - that really makes a huge difference for me - helps with my crisis and muscle twitching. I often dilute that at least 50:50 with water.
I would join, but I can't give up my nuts. Everything else is optional...

I should add that, after the first 8 months postop, I have never had a constipation issue. I take no fiber or anything else, and eat no fiber.
I think what helps is having a high fat diet. Works for me.

6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
