oh yes - they'll bite. They usually don't (other than playful nipping - which some do) unless they're upset, but if it breaks the skin and draws blood, the bites can be pretty dangerous. Their teeth are so skinny that the wound closes up right away, so bacteria gets trapped inside.

Poor kitty!

I was on a round of antibiotics for the cat scratch that caught under my toe nail. Its been 6 weeks and it is still a little tender, so definitely keep an eye on your bite!

Good morning JB and Menuers,

I been pretty good with the eats and exercise but I can not lie I wonder if something does happen am I missing out on the opportunity to eat a bunch of crap I would love to.

I am running late because I made an Aldi run before work and you know it just seems the older people(70-90) in our society are the least compliant. No masks no gloves. I even see it in my mother. I gave her a mask to wear however she has not yet. Same with DH's mom. I think they are the ones who are the one really spreading this thing. UGH.

My boss allotted me 2 cases of N95 Masks yesterday for my best customers. I was able to get 160 mask to each home healths in North Carolina and In florida so that was a rewarding day for me.

I will be slammed today being we are OFF tomorrow so happy Friday to me.

QOTD: I got 2 DH Made and the Boss gave us a few disposable I have in the car just in case.

Accountability: Rocked it!!

TSS: 2 years 3 Month 29 days 135 (lowest 130.8)

CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber

MS: Oiko Salted caramel greek yogurt, cranberry almond elevation bar and strawberries

CB2: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato

L: Jimmy Dean Eggwich/ Aldi snack select

D: turkey meatballs and stuffed mushrooms.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Exercise: I will get in a walk weather permitting. (doesn't look promising)

Everybody have a Great day.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

G'morning all!

Haha, JB, so happy you could use the meme. I honestly feel that way about any type of cookie not just Oreos!

So...another confession forthcoming. I finally took all my courage and stepped on the scale! I've been struggling with the scale since the holidays and new year. When I went up about 5 lbs I kept thinking it's only 5 lbs I can drop it fast. But somehow the 5 lbs stayed. Then since the quarantine and the whole C-19 fiasco I've reverted to soothing with sweets. But as I mentioned on Mon I am back on track. Although how can you be on track if you don't know where you start from. So I stepped on the scale. Closed my eyes, took a deep breath and stepped on. Then slowly, very slowly, I peeked. 149.4!!! I cussed in every language I know.

When the doc set 150 as my goal and after reading all the posts here, I figured I gotta give myself a 10 lb cushion. Well, that cushion is gone but I want it back. I wanna be like Karen! I will work on this until I'm back at 140. And I will update my weight regularly in the signature area.

Having said all of this, the universe is plotting against me. A good friend brought me a ton of baked goods. I had mentioned, in passing, that I love all her baking. You can see people are bored at home even with WFH, because she drops a whole bag of baked goods. I told DH & DS they better fini**** fast.

QOTD: we have one of those big masks that you have, from eons ago when DS was working with fiberglass to make his surfboard. We also have a few surgical masks DH's work distributed. I dropped off the N95 ones they gave us at the hospital, would have felt totally guilty wearing them. I am also crocheting masks for friends and neighbors, with an inner pocket and using coffee filters as filter, per CDC guidelines.

My meals yesterday:

  • B: Protein coffee
  • L: egg chaffle(giving it another go, still don't like the way I'm making it although tried different recipes)
  • S:cheese whisps (counted 25)
  • D: 3 oz shredded pork + 1 cheese stick
  • E: 25 minutes cardio (elliptical) + 50 minutes strength training

Happy uh-day!

You can do it! Oddly, I found doing WW and tracking/weighing gave me some sadly missing control when my DH was in his last month. It continues to help me feel in control in this crazy coronavirus world. When I look at it that way (helping my state of mind), it gives me extra incentive.

Very accurate perspective. I feel better since Mon because I'm in control. I don't feel like I'm drowning. I had to weigh-in for accountability and I will do that regularly going forward.
