No gallbladder. Surgeon removes them routinely since he said it ends up being removed around a year later anyway.
And yes, greasy food doesn't sit well at all!
Thanks for the carefully thought-out response.

Looking for feedback regarding food or other things related to intermittent diarrhea issues. When I started having the urgent issues around 15 years ago, I was told by a Gastroenterologist to take Imodium AD since it wasn't chronic. Over the years, it's been pretty consistent so I am assuming it has to do with the removal of a portion of the colon.
Thanks for any insight!!

Thanks! Best wishes on your success, as well.

Congratulations on each of your decisions to take the "Journey" of a lifetime. On 3/6/2002, I had the RNY gastric bypass procedure. This was WAY back when the procedure was fairly new. I've maintained a 90 lb weight loss, steady at around 15 pounds from my goal weight, and have never looked back. I'm 74 years old now, and so very thankful as this was the decision that's allowed me to live to this ripe old age!!! My philosophy is to have anything I want, in moderation. That has worked splendidly for me over the years. Sending MANY Blessings to everyone today and for your future! Cathleen
P.S. I tell everyone that I didn't get this OLD by being stupid!
