Good afternoon Laura!! Thank goodness for the 3 week reprieve!  Hope things work out with the other jobs you are applying for between now and then.  Personal recommendations are always helpful!!!  Crossing fingers, toes and even my eyes for you...OUCH, that's painful!  K...I'll keep it to fingers and toes.  Congrats on being back down a pound!!!  I knew you could do it!!!  Keep up the good work! Good Morning, All You Beautiful TEXAS Losers!! David, that's great about Sheila's new job.  She must be thrilled that they wanted her that badly.  You just sit back and enjoy being a kept man!! Today we are taking Emily to my parent's house for an overnighter.  She's NOT thrilled about it, either.  It's funny, she always frets and worries about spending the night there (she's such a mama's girl), but when it's time to come home - she doesn't want to come.  Silly girl.  I don't know what Janet and I will do while she's gone - maybe watch scary, grownup movies in the LIVING ROOM where the surround sound system is, instead of in the bedroom on the dinky TV. Anyway, I slept in because I stayed up too late reading my latest Dean Koontz novel, The Husband.  It's really good and I couldn't put it down.  So, I won't be walking today.  I guess I'll have to find another way to get some exercise in - maybe Mall walking after we drop Emily off at Mom's.   The scales moved in the wrong direction this morning!  Uuuugggghhhhh.  And I was good with my food AND exercised yesterday.  OK, I know that this won't be a straight line from 149 to 140, but at least the scales can be good to me when I'm good.  And be mean to me when I'm eating what I'm not supposed to.  I do well with logic and this is NOT logical.  I also know that I am nearly 3 years post-op and the pounds are not just gonna fly off me just because I want them to.  Grrrrrr. Enough *****ing about that. Welcome to all the newbies and lurkers.  Glad to see you posting. Prayers going out to those who need them and love to all.

Good afternoon TMB!!! I'm hopping aboard the Mid-day express today with my cheerleading uniform on and the pom poms are ready.  Time to cheer everyone on to  V I C T O R Y We can do it!!!!!!!!!!!  Go team go!!!!! Okay...enough of that...  David...glad to hear it's the LAST game tonight!  Hope you guys are able to get some rest.  Well, once you get back from OK, that is.  Prayers for travelling for you guys and all those who are making the trip to Dallas this weekend.  Stay safe on the roads everyone!  We got a call this morning for another showing of the house.  Haven't heard anything back yet, but it's only been a little over 2 hours.  I'm hoping these people are interested.  Haven't heard anymore from the ones that were interested on Monday.  I tell ya, stress is making me want to MUNCH!  I'm trying to reach for bottles of water instead.  Must be working.  I am down another pound and have lost more inches as I am easily in a 10.  Wooo hoooo!!  Gotta keep control though.  I swear, it's so easy to give in once and then the next thing I know I'm making bad choices all over the place - and not just with eating!!!  Why is it that a bad choice in one area of our lives tends to creep across all our choices and suddenly things are just ALL wrong??  There's a sermon in there somewhere...maybe I should e-mail my pastor.  Anywho...so far so good with choices today and am working hard to keep it that way.   Prayers, praises and love to/for all.  Have a great day!!  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!!!!!! Susan aka...the "Goofy" one, thanks Sherry!!!

ALL ABOARD THE WLS MID-DAY EXPRESS!!!!! Good afternoon, David and fellow passengers. What the heck is going on with the weather today? It can't decide if it wants to be a pretty day or rain. As it is it's like walking around in a sweat sock. UGH!!!

It's finally Friday, though!  I thought it would never get here! I confirmed our reservation at Joe's Crab Shack today and they are looking for us tomorrow at 7:00. We'll be on the outdoor patio (I hope the weather makes up it's fickle mind by tomorrow!) The reservation is in the name "Charlene" if you get there before I do. I was so glad to finally hear from Que and Tom. Please everyone keep them in your prayers. The worst is over but they aren't "Home Free" quite yet. By the way, Happy Anniversary you two!   ( I KNOW it's a birthday cake, but I couldn't find an anniversary cake! ) David, congrats to Sheila on the new job. She must rock at what she does to garner an offer she couldn't refuse. Way to go, Sheila! Good luck on the last game of the season. I know it must be bittersweet. It's hard to see the season end, but For Pity Sake, it's about time! Huh? Y'all have a good time in Oklahoma, but come back safe and sound! You will be missed tomorrow -- both times! Sounds like there will be several cameras there to document what you're missing! Prayer out to all who need 'em. Y'all are so special to me. I can't wait to hug lots of necks tomorrow! To those who aren't going to be there tomorrow, consider yourself (((((hugged))))) now! And kissed! MWAH! Have a great day everyone! See you tomorrow! Love ya!

XOXO
Charlene
