Good Morning Train Riders!!!!! Finally, the weekend!!! David and his crew are off to Oklahoma for the weekend and I have spent the past 10 or so hours in bed (ok, all you dirty minds....OUT of the gutter!!!) so I thought I'd get us started. I was in massive pain yesterday - as many of you know from my post - so I got in bed around 7:30 and read books with the girls and dozed off and on until hubby came in and went to bed. This morning I can definitely feel the pain but it's not horrible bad yet today. I think it progresses with the day. Gallbladder? I'm almost convinced of it! I will get to the doctor on Monday - promise I will. I have a MAJOR event at work on Thursday of next week - our Grand Opening of the hospital. More than 1000 invites out and all of corporate coming in for it. THEN, I leave the following Tuesday for Denver for a week for work. Yeah, I have time for this, don't I?! I am excited about seeing you all later today!!!! Tanya - I called you back yesterday but I guess you were rockin' to your I-Pod. Annette - call me when you get off work or I'll call you. Denise - let me know if you're riding with us! Yes, Charlene, I'm coming! I may be hopped up on Tylenol or some other pain killer (if I can find something stronger) but no way in HE-double hockey sticks will I miss this dinner tonite!!! Prayers to all out there who need them. I heard from Danni yesterday - looks like they are going to leave Alaska on Wednesday. Que - hang in there! Good to see John from katy post the other day - where is the rest of the Katy crew??? Haven't seen anything from them in AGES!!!! Have a great Saturday!!!! Sara

It's Finally Saturday!!!! I thought it would NEVER get here! So glad you are coping with the pain, Sara. I will feel better once you've seen the doctor. (I imagine you will too!) Well, it looks like Becky and Emma are going to be able to join us after all. I am so glad and excited! You girls drive safely getting up here. Call me if there are any problems (817) 266-0440. I don't know what I could do, but at least we can wring out hands TOGETHER! Hoping to see Que and Tom stroll into the Rise and Shine this morning. It always makes my day when they do that! Gina and Tracey, the SISTAHS ride tonight! Look out Arlington. I can't wait! Have y'all SEEN the guest list for tonight?????? If anyone gets moved by the spirit to join us , please just give me a call so that I can let the restaurant know to set aside more space for us. They asked for an exact headcount and the best I could do was give them a ballpark, but I faked it with such authority that I think they bought it. Traveling grace for all those coming and going. Good morning early risers!! Sara it's good to hear that you are feeling much better. Keep track of what you eat and see if you can relate it to the pain...I really hope it's not your gallbladder. I wish I was able to make it tonight but have to be at work bright and early in the morning. I have an all day garage sale today, my father-in-law passed last year and it's time to clean out his garage. Sounds like fun in the texas heat huh? You all be safe and have a great party.

Good Morning, Well we are headed out the door for our trip to Oklahoma. It is a trip that I dread and just flat do not want to go and miss all the support group fun that is happn'g today. But I need to be with my wife more - so she wins. Can't help it - I just love that woman . On the job front for her - it is back up in the air. Her present company has counter-offered and she is leaning back that way. I think it is a mistake not to leave this job - but understand why she wants to stay. Ok got to jet. I am sorry but I do not have my list of prayers for everyone, but thankfully God knows who you are. Traveling prayers for the folks down south and up north who are coming - and oh yeah for us. Will try to jump on later or tomorrow - don't know if we will have hook up for internet connection. David 424/370/218/212

Mornin everyone!

I am trying to get my lazy girl out of bed so we can get on the road. I am thinking we have about a 5 hour trip ahead of us. Em was all excited last night about going but when it involves getting out of bed, that's another story. I didn't know until 8:00 last night that I would even have her this weekend but her father had to go to Corpus for the day. So we are gonna give it our best shot to find you guys. Last summer she and I traveled 3000 miles together and covered 8 states in 9 days, so this should be easy.

I sure hope someone has name tags cuz i'm gonna feel real bad not recognizing everyone. I also hope it's not rude if Em has her Ipod or dvd player. She's being a real trooper going, but I'm not sure she realizes that we won't know anyone yet! lol

Anyway, i'm off to pack and find something black and white in my closet. You know I am anxious to meet you all since I have thought of nothing else all week but how to get up there!

Asking for travel prayers and sending out prayers to Danni, Gina A and all the others.

Good Afternoon, TMB!!! Well, the big news of the day was that we left Houston around 4am and met up with the DFW group at Rise and Shine Cafe.....it was worth getting up with the chickens to see Charlene's face as she came thru the door....especially since we called her about an hour before that to say we were leaving Houston [we were really on Hulen!!] and we would call and update her on our way up!!! The 3-T's from Houston are staying at the Admiral - we are all checked in [it's under my name] - we will do a nap and maybe find Tracey later and then the PARTY!!! Prayers going out for all who need 'em - David, as much as we missed seeing you this morning we will catch you at the next DFW dinner. Safe travel to Ms Becky and Em - I'm so excited to get to meet you in person!!! See y'all tonite!!!

Hey Sara! I'm looking so forward to tonite! Hubby will not be joining me as the boys will have friends sleeping over. Are you bringing the kiddos? My 16 year old has volunteered to keep an eye on any kids coming, lol. I told her that if we were doing the dancing part, then I'd bring her along, otherwise, I don't think she'll be needed. Let me know what you think and where we should meet. I'll send you a message with my cell number in it. I need to get my toes painted and figure out what to wear, lol. Denise

I am hoping that maybe we will be able to have another dinner before you have to move out of state and we can get together with you. That would really be a lot of fun.
