                                Good Morning Train Riders!  How was your Saturday?!  What an awesome dinner Charlene put together for the DFW group last night at Joe's Crab Shack.  Charlene........seriously, we are NOT worthy! I am so glad you put these together and give us all an opportunity to see each other and joke with each other! With that said, on to the jokes!!! Tanya, girll, you are such a good sport!!! Enjoy the Bratz dolls  - you earned them! Oh, but we have to send the pom poms to Susan! You are adorable and I love ya! T & T - You rock !!! I'm not sure that does you guys justice but you guys ROCK! The funniest was when I pulled up next to you guys on the highway - Annette and I are still laughing about that! Annette - you are also the greatest - you all should feel really sorry for her - my captive audience for 45 minutes coming and going! Bless her heart! Cindy Mc....holy crap you look great! And Debi - way to go, girl - you are SO on your way! Alissa - you were a dancin' girl - I was shocked that you were there (speed demon back from Austin so fast?! Oh, you CUT your classes and headed back early!!!!!! YOU definitely have your priorities straight!!!) Tracey - Ms. Sexy - am I ever so impressed! You are so cute and fun! Gina, you crack me up - I'm still laughing just thinking about it! Our newbie, Brandi was there too as was Denise!!!! I am so glad that we have not scared you guys off !!!! Lord knows, we are a scary bunch at times (did you see all those chicks dancing at the restaurant? Heck, what am I saying, Denise was leading them!!!!) Laura, Laura, Laura - you are such a trouble-maker!! Must be why I like ya so much - get that PT Cruiser ready, girl, we'll head to the coast this summer !!!!!!!!!! THANK U for my purple necklace!!! I love it!!!! And BECKY -- what a cutie showing up from way down in New Braunfels with Em (her adorable daughter) - what a surprise and girl, you are SOOOO funny!!!! I love getting to talk to you. Ramon - wow - what a cutie! You all have to see the picture we got of all the girls looking at his................um, scar. I wish I was going to be in Austin at the OH event to hear you. I do wish I would have been able to come to the "after-party" and hang with you Ramon, but no such luck! And I was so happy to finally meet our Tanya from Richardson with her crew!!!  Does Houston/Austin/Katy/ etc any other area do these? If you don't, get in touch with Charlene and have her encourage you to do these!!!!!!!  Charlene - GREAT choice in restaurant! Plenty of area to move around and be loud and just have a great time!! I am still trying to stay ahead of the pain but it's not working really well for me. I am sure I'll be in the doctor's office tomorrow to see what this is about! I'm doing well on the scale still. I can't get my ticker to show up on my signature. Hmmmmmm.....I'll work on it still. We missed those of you who were with us in spirit only last night - we'll all post pictures in the days to come! I really did have a great time last time and regret that I had to leave so early.  I don't see well driving at night and really needed to try to get home before it got much later.

GOOD MORNING everyone! I had such a great time last night, but the heat and the margarita- I think more the margarita- did me in! I fell asleep on the way home. Good thing I wasn't driving. lol. Charlene- you're so great to put these together. Had a blast seeing everyone!!!!  I see the folks who went to the after party haven't posted yet-sure hope they're not in jail!!! Sara- hope you feel better soon. I had a gall bladder attack while out of town in 2001 and it wasn't really painful- I felt uncomfortable for sure, but I was still able to attend the conference I was at. Then a few weeks later I had another and was in horrible pain and I even threw up I hurt so bad- that's when I went to the hospital and had to have it out. The surgery itself wasn't bad- but I couldn't eat anything with fat in it for a while because that's what the gall bladder does- break down fat. I hope your doc is able to help you tomorrow and that its nothing serious.  I'm going to have to go read the train and posts from the  past few days. I haven't had internet access for the past few days.  I'm still humming the carwash song from last night...... Hope everyone has a great day!

You wanna hear about the dancing? You should have been there, lol. That band was HOT! And as a woman, I will say, the cutest members were the young ladies in the band. We had several ladies up and dancing almost the entire night. Some guy kept going around the room, dancing with all the ladies. He danced with Connie a lot. Poor guy, he only danced with me once. I warned him that I didn't dance well. I kept turning the wrong way from what he wanted me to, stepped on his foot. It was just bad, but I had fun. Nicole, who was that fella you dissappeared with? You are still alive, aren't you? I hope you didn't do anything I would do, lol.  When Kenneth and I left the hotel, he decided he needed some Whataburger. Ok, I knew the boy had had quite a bit to drink, but didn't realize just how much. The total at the drive thru was $9.94 and my fool hands the guy $15. Sure enough, the fool in the window didn't look at the money and proceeded to give my husband 6 cents change. Well, I had my say, and he thought I was trying to pull something, lol. He called his manager and she counted down his drawer. Guess who was right? Me! Muahahahahaha. She not only gave us the $5 back, but she also gave us 2 coupons for any combo free on our next visit. Wonder when we'll be in Arlington again? lol The kids are going the day of my surgery to Six Flags, maybe they can use it.  Oh, I was not leading any dancing at the restaurant, lol. That was all Charlene! Well, ok, maybe I did the YMCA, Charlene was looking a bit pooped by that time, but Connie wasn't yet. Those 2 ladies right there kept the dance floor warm and ready, let me tell ya. One of these times I'll have to get away without hubby so I'll really get up and dance. Like I said, it ain't good, but it's fun, lol.  Well, I gotta get ready for church. Y'all have a great day and safe travels to those who need it. Denise

DENISE-we were so glad you and your hubby could make it--I knwo how hard it is to go into a group where you don't "know" people, but you fit right in !! Not sure that's a GOOD thing, though, with our group..lol

Thank you so much for the complements... I had a blast last night.. I am so glad that I did get up and make it there. I honestly had been on the go all day and thought about just staying home.. So glad I didn't. I was a very fun evening.. I was totally shocked that you guys didn't know who I was when I got there because I think I look like my picture. Of course even though I know a bunch of people from their picture I don't always see them as that person when I see them.. For some reason, I thought that Laura was shorter than she is.  Tanya, it really was good to get to meet you and I hope that the three T's come back again soon. Maybe after I get moved and settled. Then we could maybe do something fun for the whole day.. But then again... we might get into trouble if we are out somewhere other than with a group of people who could vouch for us all.  Well I am going to run. Thank you Charlene for all the work you do to get these things rolling for us. It is so good to get together and see everyone and meet the people who have become my extended family.  If you read the train and you don't participate in a support group... Please join us some time I think you will have the time of you life just being with us and cutting up and having a great time.  See you all again soon.

SARA-what a great recap! You're the best! I have a bit of fatigue and a whole lot of headache this morning...ugh...But-it's soooooooo worth it...Everyone looked so beautiful-and the "black and white" theme was just perfect-made it so much easier to know who was "with" us or not..Thank you, sistah, CHARLENE for all you do--words cannot begin to describe how much you mean to all of us. Sara was right on about what she said about everyone. To our coastal friends--YOU throw a dinner and WE will come--same for BECKY-it's not far for y'all to always be the ones traveling...I'd love a road trip-as long as TRACEY is driving and I am sleeping....lol...Time to go hit the shower and try to was some of these cobwebs out of my head--planning to take a bunch of little, LOUD children swimming in the GLARING sun...oh...my aching head...............

I'm so sorry I missed the party...you guys seem like you have so much fun together.  I can't wait until I can join you.  I've been at work all day but luckily not any babies being born today so I have had a lot of time to read posts.

Hey substitute engineer and TMB!!!! What a wonderful Sunday....but Saturday sounds like it was even better than anyone could've imagined!!  I can't wait to see the pics from it!!  Mercy but I wish I could've been there....  Oh well...I was there in spirit!! Sara, sorry to hear you are still having pain.  Hope the doc is able to figure it out and get you fixed....I mean, pain free......ASAP!!!!   Just got off the phone with my realtor.  Today was our Open House.  Had 3 groups who were seriously interested.  One of them is going to go talk to the bank this week to see what sort of loan they qualify for....if it's enough, they want to buy my house!!!!  YIPPEE!!!  PLEASE pray they will qualify.  According to my realtor, they are a really cute young couple who are expecting their first baby - and the wife said my house was EXACTLY what she wanted...which is exactly how I felt when I saw it the first time!!  So, I'd really like these people to get it. Sounds like they'll  it as much as I do.  Otherwise things are going good for me.  The scale is stuck at 151 STILL....but the inches are falling off like crazy.  So, I'm NOT complaining.  Not at all!!!  I'd like the scale to move again.  I have six more pounds to lose before I can leave TX.  I weighed 145 when I moved here in 1995 and I want to weigh that (or less) when I leave this state!!!  Wish me luck...and give me pointers on how to get rid of those 6 pesky pounds....  Can I just  them away???  Prayers, praises and love to and for all!!  Have a great day!!  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!
