WLS Express - Sunday!!!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm late posting because we had our company picnic at the Frisco's Roughriders game today. It was a great time! VERY VERY HOT!!!!! Whew! Got home and took a nice cold shower. I feel much better now.

Thank you all so much for making me feel so welcomed last night. I had the best time! Charlene girl you throw a TERRIFIC party!! Thank you so much for all your hard work. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I was worried I would feel uncomfortable. Not for one second did I feel that way! Thank you all so much. I can't wait for the next dinner.  Tanya and Ramon, thank you for the talk last night. You both helped me feel a lot more comfortable about the having had the surgery. I've been feeling a little down about it recently but not now. I will become a posting fool on here! Get ready you will all be tired of me before long! Tracie girl you are true inspiration. You are so gorgeous!! Thank you for talking to me as well. Laura, thank you to you and sister for both making me and Chris feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. Em and I had a GREAT time. It was wonderful meeting everyone matching the people with our 'avatars'.  There were several people I just couldn't figure out until I asked Annette! Thanks

Sara, you and Charlene, Gina, Terry,  Tanya and Cindy are just a trip! And it was well worth the trip for sure. Thanks for being such great hosts to us. I was worried Em would be bored but she said she had a blast.  We also enjoyed meeting Terry Ann and Debbie and Karen and Ramon.  Em couldn't believe that people would get together and compare scars!

We had one big problem last night!  We couldn't find the hotel to go dancing.  We drove and drove for about an hour over and over the same area and we saw no Admiral Inn. We even went by our hotel and looked it up but it wasn't listed.  So we finally gave up about 10:15

Arlington was really 'kewl', as Em says.  Seeing Six Flags and the parachuters drop into the Rangers game.

Made it home fine. Took lots of small detours on the way since Em had never been up that way before.

Thanks again for the great welcome and we will try it again sometime.

Oh Becky! I am so sorry!! I would have gladly given you my cell phone number or even had you follow me.... I wish you had made it! I wondered where you went to, but figured that Em had had enough (having two teenagers I know the drill) I'd love to get together with you again and really get to sit down and talk!!  BTW- your avatar doesn't do you justice!! You look wonderful in it, but you are even more beautiful in real life! Glad to have met you and Em!!  Tracey

Becky! I'm so glad you and Em made the trip. It was so much fun meeting you both. Em is just a delight! Sorry you didn't find the Admiral. We'll make sure you get better directions next time! (Actually, come to find out, Em wouldn't have been allowed in the door anyway. They had a strict "21 and above only" rule posted. Glad you made it home safely and that you both had fun!  Hope to see you next time! MWAH!

BECKY_let's plan a time for you and Em to come back and we'll get all our teens together at Six Flags--while you, me and Tracey ESCAPE into an air conditioned show!
