Good morning all!  Haven't had time to post in ages but thought I'd give everyone an update.  My brother had surgery, and we received good news and bad news.  They couldn't get the tumor on his spine.  They did replace all of the hardware that had failed in his back with a rod going the length of his spine.  They can't  promise how long that will hold.  They did say that they were able to get alot of infectious tissue out and with antibiotics he could get the infection under control within 2 months and return to chemotherapy.  This tumor is not the type to kill him.  It will paralyze him if we can't race the clock against the infection and begin chemo in a timely manner.  He DID walk out of the hospital.  No paralysis from surgery.  Hey... we'll take the blessings where we can get them... right? We have always talked about cruising to alaska.  One of those things that you keep putting off.  I told him going into surgery that if he walked out of the hospital we'd go.  Guess who's cruising to Alaska July 21ST!!!  The four of us are sooo looking forward to it!

While Brett was in the hospital he received hundreds of e-cards from ya'll.  I can't begin to tell you what these meant to him (and me).  He was floored that so many strangers and strangers friends and strangers churches were praying for his recovering and healing.  I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for the time you each took from your days to do this for him and me.   Terry... you were awesome.  Thanks so much for being there for LeAnn and for the moral support for me as well.  I am so proud to call each of you my OH family! In the middle of this, we had 44 pups on the ground... it's been so busy around here its not funny.  I miss  you all lots!    Take Care, Robin

Thanks for the update Robin. I will continue to pray that the doctors are able to treat him as aggressively and safely as possible for the best outcome for him. Have fun on the cruise!

Good morning!

Prayers for Sara- I had GB stuff a long time ago and that is NOT fun! Hopefully they'll figure out what's wrong soon and get it fixed.

I LOVE my new washing machine Alissa! I was thinking yesterday about how I don't miss the laundromat and I wonder if the owners have noticed our absence yet. It is so nice to just be able to throw some clothes in and go about your life.

I have rehab/externship today then off to school. I am running late.

Love you guys!

Good Morning All, Sounds like everyone is crazy busy today. Today is my day in the office this week. I like working from home so much better but guess I shouldn't complain since it's only one day a week in the office. It just means I actually have to put clothes on and not hang out in my pj's all day. Darn!  Sara- I'm still praying for you girl. I hope they can fix this issue quickly!  Robin- I'm so happy to hear your brother is doing better. I'm so excited for you cruising to Alaska. That will be a blast. I will keep praying your brothers help continues to improve.  Tracey- I never got to respond to you yesterday. I had such an awesome time dancing and hanging out with Saturday night. THANK YOU!  Everyone else in the RCC lots of hugs and prayers. I hope you get better soon! Have a great day! Brandi
