GREAT cactus story Karen!!  If my shed was wood, I'd be out there in a heartbeat whacking away at it.  But, it's metal and that scares me as I just know that Justin or I would end up getting hurt trying to bring it down.  Plus, my garage is packed full of things from the house and I really don't want to move stuff around to put the lawn mower, gas, etc in my garage since I have a gas water heater out there.... BTW, I can just visualize you guys hooking the cable around the cactus and pulling it out of the ground...and especially the one where the cable snapped!!   GREAT visuals!!

Good morning every one!  How's your day going?  Seems like most of us are sleepy!  I could use a few days of extra sleep myself.  Like Terry Ann, I'm going to be in the dentist's chair tomorrow.  Probably for quite some time.  She needs to take off a crown that was just put on there because there is in fection under it.  It's hurt since it was put on, but we couldn't find anything wrong with it in the xrays.  So... off it comes to look and see what's up. I spoke with Tanya last night and found out that Sara is in Centenial Medical Center in Frisco.  Their web site says that they have construction and they have a "future" address, but I couldn't find a current address to send flowers to. David, I know how you sacrifice to go to these fund raisers at golf courses.  We have a golf tournament every year in October that, I'm telling ya... is difficult to go to.  What with the wonderfuly cooler weather, and that horrible networking going on.  You have my pity guy! Has anyone heard from Dana and her move to Louisana?  How's she doing? I missed out on decorating!  Where was I when ya'll decided to do that?  Man, I would have loved to put the whoopie cushion on the chair!  Not for Sara, but for anyone visiting her.  She needs a great laugh that only fake farts can engender!!     Well, I have some resumes to get finished!!  Wish me luck!! Love to everyone!  Have a great day! p.s.  The scales are stuck at +6 pounds!

Good morning Laura!!! Hey...there is still time for you to sneak a whoopie cushion onto the chair.  Sara will be there all day today and will need to laugh to help move the gas and get rid of the soreness, right???  Sounds reasonable to me!!    So, come on in and help decorate!!   Hope all goes well for you at the dentist tomorrow.  Sorry to hear about the on-going pain.  Ouchie!!  The only thing worse than a tummy ache is a tooth ache!!  Hope they figure it out and get you better soon!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Well Alrighty then!  Here's a purple one and an orange one!  And here are some streamers and some balloons filled with Helium!  I do a great munchkin-like "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" when I'm on helium!!   I know she could use some laughs to get rid of that gas, but not too much!  My mom calls laughter "Internal Jogging" and swears it's very healthy to laugh!! Love ya!

LOVE what you've done with the decor Laura!!!  Oopss.....did I just sit on that special cushion???  Hmmm.....it makes interesting sounds when I hop up and down on it....     Here.....have some helium...*passing balloon*.....  I wanna hear you sing...   Hey..I have a great idea...we can use the colored flavored tongue depressors to make a Yellow brick road out the front door for Sara when she leaves...and we can inhale helium and sing her out!!!!  What do you think????  Oh...and I agree with your Mom.  When I had my first son C-section my hubby had me laughing like crazy that night (the morphine helped too) and I was barely sore afterwards.  After son # 2 who was also C-section, he had to work that night and I didn't laugh...and I was sore for weeks afterwards it seemed.  I'm a firm believer in the healing powers of laughter and a positive attitude.

Good morning everyone!  Well, I've had a pretty eventful morning so far.  One of my students handed me a note saying that another student on my bus had threatened to stab her.  She didn't name the student who allegedly threatened her -- I don't think she knew his name.  I have a pretty good suspicion as to which boy it was -- so does everyone I work with.  Now there are two schools involved in trying to find out what has actually happened.  When I brought this to the attention of my boss, he told me that this wasn't the first time this summer (and today is only the fifth day of summer school) that there was a stabbing threat from my bus.  The first one I feel is pretty bogus as that child wasn't even sitting near anyone that could have threatened her.  Unfortunately, my boss put me on a smaller bus from what I normally drive.  This bus does not have a camera on it.  So there is no way of being able to see anyone approach anyone else.  I told my boss that I needed MY bus.  lol.  Oh, well.  It will be interesting to see just how this situation resolves itself. This all happened after I woke up during the night with a migraine, too.  So, not much sleep combined with this threat makes for a pretty lousy day for this bus driver. Other than that, I'm happy to say that I am able to get plenty of water in (I'm pre-op) and have been mowing just about every day.

Mercy Debra!!! I'd definitely say you've had an eventful morning!!!  YIKES!! What's up with kids these days??  Just  with all these threats!  Hope they give you your bus back so you can have video confirmation of what's going on behind you.  Good luck with it!! BTW, how's the migraine?  Hope you are feeling better by now!!!  Take care...and try to get some rest before you have to pick them up again!!

Thankfully, my migraine has abated to just a headache.  A tolerable one -- but I won't go out and mow and get hot today.  lol.  That would just bring it back on.    Hopefully tomorrow it will all be gone. After the schools did some checking into the story, it turns out that the boy who threatened the girl was the kid that I had assumed it was.  He's a very troubled child.  His mom has nothing to do with him and his dad doesn't want him (even though he's living with his dad).  Kid is only about 12 years old too.  Sad situation.  This has now gone to the attention of the superintendent so we'll know more tomorrow as to what's going to happen to this boy.  Come to find out he's threatened another child on my bus already this summer, plus he's been in the principal's office every day of summer school so far.  This boy need prayers.
