Good morning TMB!  We are about to get washed away down here in Blooming Grove.  When I didn't see the train up and running yet I thought perhaps it may have gotten washed off the tracks.  We have had 3 inches of torrential like rain this morning.  It even blew in under the front door and soaked the carpet. Went to Six Flags yesterday....no lines at all to speak of....I managed to ride whatever I wanted to...and enjoyed every moment of it. One good thing about it, all my kids are so worn out that they are still sacking in this morning.  Believe me on this rainy day I am treading ever so lightly so they will keep on sleeping for a while. I hope everyone has a good day in spite of the rain. Make good choices today, drink lots of water and exercise....... Somebody ring David's alarm........I guess he is really taking it easy this morning. Sara, I hope that you are doing much better today.  Don't overdo.

Good morning TMB!!! Wow...it's not often that I'm on early enough to be the 2nd post on the train!  Amazing!!! Ganda....I'm thinking of taking my son to Six Flags or Sea World one day soon.  Which do you recommend and would a weekday be better, do you think?  We HATE waiting in long lines.... BTW, glad you enjoyed your day yesterday and that the kids are sleeping in this morning to give you some peace and quiet.   Oh, send some of the rain down this way.  I'm having to water my lawn again.....I do not like watering the lawn.  Makes me very unhappy.  It's just a waste of money to turn on the sprinkler for grass, ya know?  I don't mind watering the flowers...they are pretty....but GRASS??    I promised my realtor to keep the grass green and pretty though, so I'm watering....   Not much going on in my neck of the woods today.  About to do my morning cleaning of the already clean house - just so it smells good if anyone comes to see it.  Other than that, I'll be hanging out here on the computer and/or reading books most of the day.  Oh...I'm also trying Mel's ribs recipe she sent out one day this past week.  My son and I are really excited to try it!! Have a great day everyone! MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!

Hi Sue, first chance I have had to sit down since I posted this morning..my three older children came over with their children for a Father's Day celebration. I just finally got all the pots and pans washed up and food put away. I have never been to Sea World before, that's in our plans for this summer. I think the lines would be shorter during the week.  From our experience yesterday wait until they are calling for heavy storms then go.  We got lucky, all the storms passed the park by but kept the crowds away.

Glad it worked out for you guys! If I tried that, with MY luck, that would be the day that SA got record rainfall.    We are still debating on which park to visit.  I sort of want to go to Sea World because we can buy tickets online for 2 days for a little more than one day at Six Flags....  But, then again, we LOVE Six Flags....  it's a hard decision and I'm not in the mood to make decisions today.  And, the 14 year old is just happy to go.  He doesn't care where!!

My sis and BIL have season passes to Six Flags up here and have found Tues and Wed. to be the best days even in the summer. I've never been to Sea World, want to go sometime.

Thanks for the info Alissa!!  We had season passes last year to Six Flags, but I was working then, so we could only go on weekends and it was a nightmare once summer actually started.   We haven't been to Sea World since Justin was about 3 or 4 so it's been a really long time!  I was pregnant then so we didn't do any of the rides and from looking at the map on-line, it looks like they mostly have water rides and two roller coasters.  Not sure how much I'd enjoy it, ya know?  I'm not a big water park person as I don't swim!  Never learned how!!!

Good Morning Train Riders!  It pouring here as well. I had planned to met the Terrell Troopers for coffee this morning but it was just raining too hard to drive that far.  I guess I will have to wait until next time to meet them in person.   My daughter has been to Six Flags twice so far this season.  Both times were on weekdays and she never had to wait more than 20 minutes.  Most rides she could get right on.  From what I hear, weekends are very crowded.  Can't wait until I get skinny enough to join her. Today is chore day for us (in between rainstorms.)  I am trying to sell a TV on Craigs List and have someone coming to see it.  Then we are getting my daughter's old car ready to sell.  Mecanically it's great but it needs a lot of cleaning (apparently the maid didn't ride along with her to clean up!!).  We also are getting our pontoon boat ready for sale.  Kinda hard to clean all these things in the rain.   &&&&&*****DAVID...WAKE UP!!!!!******&&&&& Hope Blooming Grove doesn't get washed off the map!! (Is it even on the map?) Happy house sales Susan...it stinks to have to sit in a house and not make a mess and be prepared to leave on a moments notice.  Hope it sells soon.  Being on the MLS should help. Oh, as promised, my new Pic with my new haircut.  Can't wait until I'm skinny and can really post a new avatar.  ...all good things come to those that wait, ugh!!!

Hey Stephanie!!   LOVE the haircut!! It's really cute!!!!   Good luck getting all those outside chores done between rain showers.  Don't you hate it when you make plans and the weather ruins them?  But, be thankful for the rain.  At least you aren't having to water the lawn.  Thanks for the tip on Six Flags. If we go, I think we'll definitely do a weekday to avoid the crowds.  Standing in line all day is just NOT my idea of fun.   Thanks also for the well wishes on the house selling.  We've had another potential buyer come view it today and I've seen two people drive by and stop to take flyers.  Hopefully some of them will call to take a look at it soon too.   Have a super duper Saturday!!

Good morning, Texas! I think the train must be waaaaay behind schedule this weekend. Where are the usual suspects? It is good to see the riders we have on board this morning. You all look fabulous...just a little lonely. I am looking forward to meeting up with my sistahs in a few minutes. It is always too much fun when we get together. I hope David is within shouting distance in case we need to call him for bail money! (lol) Y'all have a great weekend, remember the rules! NO MATTER WHAT!!!  Love all of y'all! MWAH!

XOXO

Hey Charlene!! I'd say "hope you had a good time with the sistahs" but I know that's a given.  Of course you all had a good time!!  You ALWAYS do!!!  Wish I could've tagged along, but that's a bit far to drive for a movie.  Still thinking about going to see one alone while the teenager sees one with his friends.   As for the usual suspects, can you round them up and SCARE them so they'll be sure to post tomorrow?  It's lonely here today. Love ya!
