TANYA-I think the TO is a great idea-I'm trying to psych myself up for it. Mostly I need a "carb detox", but I've not yet gotten angry enough at myself to reach deep inside and find the self discipline TO would require. Please update often how it's going--I'm cheering for you!!

Hey Tanya,  Try the plateau buster diet, maybe that will jump start some more weight loss.  Good luck girl!!

Hey Princess of Flirting!! So....any updates on lunch plans?  Maybe something this week???  Hmmm????  E-mails from them both.  Interesting..... Good luck with the TO trial and making your goal.  YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!  I have faith in you.  Just look how far you've come.   BTW, 4:30 wake ups??  That's a child that would be driving to work on her own!!  If it's earlier than 6:00 I'm not doing it!!!

Good morning everyone,

Man am I tired.  Weekends just aren't what they used to be, are they?  I knew it was going to be rough when I went to lunch on Friday and ran over a rake and punctured my tire.  Fortunately it stayed up long enough to get to discount tire and get it fixed.  I worked Friday night, Saturday for 6 hours and Sunday for 4.5 hours.  We are dogsitting at the house and dogsitting for a neighbor also.  The one at the house goes home today but we are sitting for the others until Sunday.  That one is requiring 3 visits a day.  I'm doing the morning potty break at 6:20am as I go to work.  Britt will go midday and then we will usually go together in the evening (feeding time) since we have to stay longer for that one.  With our work schedules, it should be interesting.  Britt's getting paid $150 for the week though so we can't complain too much.  I work againg tonight so she will have to do evening duty alone but she works a few evenings this week as well so I will get my turn.

Britt gets her wisdom teeth out next Monday, the 25th.  She will get knocked out for it with plenty of pain drugs.  She's actually excited about it (morbid child) since she is having quite a bit of pain with them trying to come in.  She was also excited when she was getting her expanders in before braces and quickly learned it wasn't as fun as she anticipated.  She's already making the shopping list of soft foods for me to buy her.  She has her heart set on getting a bunch of drinkable yogurts.  Go figure.  She wanted to go shopping this last weekend but I told her we would wait until next weekend so she won't be tempted to eat it all this week.  lol

Well, I better get to work.  My boss won't be in today.  Her baby has a doc appt today.  It was supposed to be for his 2 month shots but he's running a 103+ temp so they are going in to get him checked out.  She has found an apartment for her and the baby so it looks like her separation will last at least 6 months since that's the lease she had to sign.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Have a great week everyone.

Good morning everyone!!!  Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!  We were busy all weekend and had a blast.  Got together with a friend and played Super Scrabble on Saturday.  I love that game!!!  Then went to another friend's house for a pool party.  Thank goodness the rain took a break for a while so we could enjoy the pool and hot tub.  Sunday we hung out with the in laws for Father's Day and hubby made a Debbi friendly raspberry cobbler that was yummy!! Have another busy week set up this week.  Wednesday my baby (4 legged one that is) is going in to get fixed.  He won't be happy, but hopefully will calm down some.  Then Thursday I've set up 3 different doc appointments in the am.  LOL, trying to maximize my time off work.  Going in for my 3 month appointment with the surgeon (and I think I'm already at 100 , but I'm not going to make it official till I see it on his scale!!) I LOVE the pictures from Joe's!!!  They were fantastic!!!!  Hope everyone has a great day!! Debbi

Hi Debbi!! Glad to hear you had such a fun weekend!!!  The pool and hot tub sound wonderful.   I  hope getting the 4 legged baby fixed works.  It worked out great for us when we had our mini schnauzer fixed a couple years ago.  He was getting really aggressive, but calmed down considerably afterwards.  His testicles never descended and the vet said large amounts of testosterone were being squeezed into his system which was making him be so mean.  Thank goodness that's over!!  Hope you have the same luck! Enjoy your time off on Thursday and all your appts.  Hope you make the Century Club "officially".  Can't wait to hear the results!!

Good morning TMB!!! Sorry everyone had so much rain this weekend.  It was sunny and beautiful in the Coastal Bend and I was wishing for some of that rain to come down here so I could stop watering the lawn!!!  Seriously, anytime y'all get sick of rain, send it my way!!   Not much on the agenda here today.  We watched all our movies yesterday, so I'm thinking a trip to Blockbuster may be in order....but the new releases are out tomorrow, so I may delay it till then.  Gotta get those new movies.  I hope there's something good to choose from! MEL!!!!!! Oh mercy!!  Those ribs were FABULOUS!!! Thanks for the recipe.  If you guys haven't tried it yet, you need to do so immediately.  I wish I'd had a camera to take a pic of my son when he took his first bite.  I can't describe the look of pure pleasure that went across it!!  He ate 2 whole ribs - the equivalent of 1.5 pounds (thank goodness I bought and made 3 pounds)!!!!!  We are having what little is left over for dinner tonight - if he doesn't decide to have them for lunch today, that is!! David.....You just didn't get a break this weekend!!!  Sorry to hear about the accident on Friday/Saturday and then the tree on Sunday.  I think you need to skip R&R weekends from now on.  They are just tooooo stressful!!!  Hope the tree gets taken care of ASAP so you guys can get the satellite going again.  TV is of utmost importance with kids in the house!!   Cheerleading outfit has been cleaned and pressed.  Ready to put it on when I finish my maid's duties.  Got a cute outfit for that too.....   The pom poms haven't made it here yet, but then again, the mail doesn't arrive till around 1:30.  Prayers for all who need them - especially Terry Ann with her knee operation today and Sara as she continues to recover. Love to all!!  Have a great day everyone!! MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!!
