36 days

Good morning,  Sorry Ihave not posted in a while. Computer was down for a while and work to busy. But I was peeping when I got a chance. But I just counted and DH and I have 36days till all of you losers are going to have to give up the window seats. We will be on the losers side before you know it. Thanks for everyone who sent prayers when granny died. You know she donated her body to science years ago, and now that she had Alzheimers this past 10-15 years, we might learn a lot more about it. They are studing her brain and said they would be able to tell if the diagnosis was correct and how long it had been going on.  I am not sure what to do, but I want an Angel for surgery and DH does not even look at the board, he still does not really talk about surgery, just what he has to do, and what rules to follow. So I do not know if it is appropriate to ask for an Angel for him as well.   I hope everyone is well and or getting better. I hated missing the dinner in Arlington and I hope to go to the Ft Worth breakfast Sat. Love and Hugs to all. 36days, 36days, 36days. 5 weeks tomorrow. Sherry

Hey Sherry, good to see you post again.  I've got 39 days left, remember we are 3 days apart.  I am going in this morning for my last pre-op consultation.  I have my list of questions in hand.  Which hospital are you using?  I'm at Doctors.  My husband is in complete denial that I am having this surgery.  He won't talk about it at all, maybe it's a man thing???  Counting down, ever so slowly...

Hi, My hubby is also having surgery the same day as me. He is happy about surgery but does not think we should talk to others about it. I told him that as much as he does not about it, I must. So he is ok, as long as he does not have to add to it. We are having surgery tentatively at Renassaince, but we may have to have it at Dr's depending on Dr contract w/hospital., Good luck today, I am sure you are there right now, The wait in the office can get long.  Let me know how you are.  hugs, Sherry

You guys are going to love your new lives! I'm not sure about your hubbys though, mine is a skinny minny, but has been 110% behind me all the way on this journey, even complementary! Maybe when they see the actual results starting, they'll accept it better. I hope so, it's so important to have back-up!

My hubby was about 185# when we met but after a knee injury, he gained weight. I so look foward to both of us getting smaller. We figured out that when we get to goal, we will weigh less together than either of us weigh now. He completely backs me up, just does not want to talk about it in public, and of coarse I never meet a stranger, LOL. But he has had 17yrs to get use to my talking to everyone.haha Thanks for writing, Sherry
