{{{{HUGS}}}}  Sorry you are having such a hard time.  If I was you, I'd be having a pity party too.  It has to be very frustrating.  Just try to look at the big picture and see that the light at the end of the tunnel ...is YOU looking and feeling healthy again.  Keep us posted.

Ok, so my surgery goes off without a hitch on June 13.  I have the open revision from VBG to Gastric Bypass.  Get home on Friday, do everything I'm supposed to do, including the walking and at least 60 oz. of water a day.

Wednesday I'm going to get the drain removed and lo and behold, the stuff in the drain is all brown and gross! Julian tells me that I have to be READMITTED because he thinks there's an infection...so her it is, Friday and I'm home again with a pic line and a whole buttload of antibiotics that I have to inject myself with (sorry about that grammar) for the next 1 to 3 weeks. Why did I sign up for this, again? Oh, and the best part?  I FEEL fine...dammit! Sorry to vent, I'm just feeling sorry for myself!  Thanks for listening!

I hope your infections clears up and is better soon.  Poor thing.  You'll be glad you did it in the long run. Karla
