Good morning TMB, Quick drive by as today is going to be super busy for me.  Work has had some issues lately and I am so feeling overwhelmed and disorganized.  I have 7 patients in house and so many fires, that I dont know if I am coming or going.  I am thrilled that we are closed tomorrow as I need a break. To top things off today I have my annual and my boss has already told me that nothing I did for the 6 months in ICU will count- all of the presentations and committe was now a waste of time.  Then I was out 3 months on medical leave- so much for any raise I think, but say some prayers for me just in case. I was approved to leave on vacation on July 21st for a week to go see Jim's parents in TN.  Looking forward to getting out of Dodge big time.  Scale is being sweet to me as I have 4 weeks til my 1 year post op.  Vitamins are in, AO done and cottage cheese waiting for me.  Make great choices and know I love ya guys... hugs to all, Tanya  aka Princess of Annuals

Morning Tanya, our lovely Nurse Princess!!! Sorry to hear about the annual and what they AREN'T including.....Hmmmm....just doesn't seem right that they don't take into consideration everything you've done this year.  But, that's just me being, oh, RATIONAL about the whole thing.  Hope it goes well for you and that you get a great raise.  I know you deserve it!!!   Take care and have a great day!!!

Good morning everyone,

This should be a short day at work.  We usually get off at least an hour early the day before a holiday.  Just depends on how many phone calls we get and how busy everyone is.  We are pretty good about making it look really slow.  lol

Well, I had quite a surprise when I got home from work yesterday.  Britt was at work and Josh was sleeping since he's been working nights this week.  I walked in the front door and our psycho dog, Mollie, was laying on the couch.  My first thought was that she had started freaking out with the thunder we had earlier and Josh got up and let her in.  Well, I was pretty upset with Josh because there were muddy foot prints everywhere.  Mostly on the tile in the kitchen but there were some on the carpet also.  I cleaned up the tile and then noticed that the curtain was missing from one of the windows in our "cat" room.  Then I noticed that the window was opened.  Then I saw all the mud all over the window, all over the cat food, all over everything.  Apparently, the last time that window had been opened, Britt forgot to latch it.  With Mollie jumping at the window, she managed to open the window, jump through the window, take a tour of the house with her muddy feet and then park it on the couch.  The curtain is laying in a puddle of muddy water outside the window along with the curtain rod.  Needless to say, Britt will be doing some cleaning today.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Wow Danni!  I'm so impressed with how active you ALL are being!! Especially the little guy.  How in the world do you get him up and out that early?  My younger ones like to get up early, but not THAT early!!  They aren't up till 6:30 or 7:00 in the summer.  Congrats on becoming an active family and controlling the portion sizes.  You rock girl!!!!

Well, I have plans to make it to David's for fireworks, but if it's raining, I probably won't make it.

Danni, I think I'm going to continue the PB plan with you.  I didn't lose anything when I was on it before, so I'm hoping if I continue, it'll help.  I went out and bought some more cheese that I like, and meat and stuff, so I'm ready. Work is getting me down.  It's so difficult to keep your head up when people keep beating you down.  I try to be positive, but sometimes it doesn't work.   Tanya, I'm sorry that your six months in ICU don't count towards your review.  That's wrong.   Sara, Please call the vet for your little furbaby.  I don't think she's going to have an easy delivery since she's so small.  She may need some help from a professional.  I can't wait to see the photos!  I love puppies!!  They have the sweetest breath!!  My little blind poodle has old man breath now and I'm afraid he isn't long for this world, however he's hung on this long, he'll probably surprise everyone and be here for another 5 or 6 years!! Well, I guess I'd better go.  I really don't have much to say, so I'll say goodbye for now.  I'll keep reading to see how everyone is doing. Love to all!!

Morning Laura!! Hope you get to enjoy the fireworks tonight at David's.  That sounds like such a good time.   Smiley Fireworks  I'm sorry to hear things are still horrible at work.  Hopefully soon, it will all settle down and you can get a job in another division.  I will continue to pray for you that it will happen.   Good luck as you continue with PB. You can do it!!!! Take care and have a great day!!
