I figured I had better stop READING and start POSTING before I do like I did yesterday just forget to post...It's hell to get old...One of the expected isde effects of this migraine prevention med I'm taking-esp for the first month is "body aches and forgetfulness"_i didn't think I'd notice any DIFFERENCE..lol..but I DO believe it's gotten a lil worse...But..I will be 50  THIS month..and I was soooo sure it was NOT going to "bother" me..mentally/spiritually..but I was wrong...sigh...I need to stay focused and thank the good Lord that He sees fit for me to still be here and stop whining...Anyhoo.........Sounds like everyone is carrying on their regular, busy lives. I'm really proud of DANNI with her PB and poached fish (I'd have to be PLENTY hungry to eat THAT..lol)...If you didn't see MEL's salad recipe post yesterday, I highly recommend you go back and get it--awesome--having been off fruits for 10 days, that lil bit of orange tasted better than any Snickers ever did! DAVID--tonight is still up in the air--or up in the CLOUDS, I should say--will the city announce a "cut off time" for NOT doing it? I hate to miss a chance for being with y'all though. I start my 9 day work marathon at 3:30 am tomorrow, and probably should plan on going to bed early, but would rather be with my buds, ya know????? Did I tell y'all I went and saw the movie "1408" at the Studio Movie Grill BY MYSELF (see-I forgot!)--I nearly tee tee-ed the seat when the waiter kid tapped me on the shoulder to give me my bill-and after I screamed, I'm pretty sure HIS pants were damp. Y'all really shouldn't let me be out alone....I'm thinking the first time I did Superman I tee tee-ed on HIM too (jealous-CHARLENE??)..Ok..enough tee tee talk--having "AND" time today--my nephew, Tanner, the Six Flags guitar winning fool, made that up--it stands for "Aunt-Nephew-Day"--his way of getting me to take him to lunch-but in order for MY kids to get to go he had to talk one of my other sisters into going to my kids would have an aunt--got kind of complicated, but I think they got it all worked out. Hope everyone has a FUN FUN FUN day!!

I can't believe I forgot to post about your loss!!  WAY TO GO!!!!!  I'm sooooo proud of you!!!!!!  Go Gina!!!!!!            I love the "AND" day!!  That is super cute.  Gotta give him points for creativity!!  How funny he talked another aunt into going so your boys could go too.  What a kid!!!   Sorry to hear about the meds and their side effects....BTW, what day is your b-day?  Mine is the 29th.  I turn the big 4-0 that day.  So far, no biggie...but as the day gets closer, I may have those mental/emotional issues about it too....  So...wanna join whiners anonymous together???  I hear they have a 2for1 special going right now just for us....  LOL Take care and HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

SUSAN-mine is the 24th-so I'm 10 YEARS and 5 DAYS OLDER than you..sigh...I didn't feel OLD enough ALREADY..lol...

My dearest Gina.... Age is only a state of mind....and you my darling are NOT old.  FAR from it!!!  You are younger than my husband acts most days...and he's less than 9 months older than me in calendar years!!   So....don't despair...just think of it as turning 40 with experience!!  Hope that helps....cause I'm debating on which year I'm turning this year "with experience" of course...I'm thinking 25 is a good age to turn again.  25 with 15 years experience...  Yes, that sounds perfect!! Lots of love sweetie!!

Wow-busy month-CHARLENE's is the 25th

Good morning, ya'll  I'm princess grumpy-pants this morning.   1) people can't drive. I swear some people get their licenses from a box of crackerjack. (jerkoff who flipped me off this morning, I'm talking to you)  2)One of my new reports is malfunctioning, so I got in trouble Friday for something that probably wasn't even wrong.  3) Dear coworker in another department that decided it would be a great idea to forward my sarcastically frustrated email to the people I was frustrated at, THANKS! Now I look like a bigger biznotch than I usually do. 4) Dear self-important coworker: When you ask me to do something on a certain date, and then I do it, don't be suprised if the data changes.  Your holier-than-thou attitude does not endear yourself to me or my boss, and your tool is so outdated that you're not even pulling from the correct database anyway. GRRR! Sorry ya'll just venting.  The good news is I have an appt for my annual exam with my PCP today. Normally I dread this appointment, but this is the Dr. that said NOT to have WLS, and I could do it on my own. I'm down 90 lbs as of today and have on my new size 8 levis and a top from Victoria's Secret. She's going to absolutely crap herself and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. I just love to be right. Hope you guys have a safe and fun July 4th, and I look forward to seeing the locals at the NTX support group!
