Morning!!! So...rain again in Blooming Grove?  Hmmmm.....just think how the flowers will bloom once the rains are over.   Flowers   Gotta find that silver lining!!  Enjoy your sewing projects.  What are you making?  Sewing Machine  No word yet on the potential buyers.  I'm guessing this means they chose another property.  Oh well...they missed out is all I have to say!!!  But, there is a family out there that is meant to have this house.  I just wish they would hurry up and buy it!!  This waiting is KILLING me!!!  lol Have a good weekend.  Hope it dries out for you a bit and you get to see the sunshine!! Tanny

Good morning TMB!!!!! David requested sunshine, so here it is!!!  Sunny  Sunburn 2 Tanny  On The Hammock On The Beach  Beach Party Sweat   Hope that helps everyone who is having dark skies and more of the wet stuff.  So far the skies are bright, blue and beautiful in the Coastal Bend.  Probably won't last long as we've been getting rain daily, but I'm enjoying it while it's here.   The countdown is on.  My hubby called and said he will be home WEDNESDAY!!!  That's 4 days and a wakeup!!  The cool part is the house is so darn clean I don't have to do a thing to get the house ready for his homecoming.  Just have to make a trip to HEB to stock up on some of his favorite snacks and drinks and maybe stuff for a couple of his favorite meals.   Have a great day everyone!!  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!!!

Good morning everyone, it has been a while since I posted here. My surgery is coming up in a few days and I am starting to get a little nervous / excited. Any last minute advice would be welcome, especially for the clear liquid diet. I'm having a hard time thinking of creative things to try after surgery. I did get some good news yesterday, since I am self-paying for my surgery, the hospital has discounted the surgery even more than what my Dr. said it would be!!! Thats always a good thing.

Congratulations on the upcoming surgery! And you wouldn't be normal if you weren't nervous/excited/anxious and every other emotion on the chart all rolled into one! LOL Hang in there and it'll all be over before you know it! As for the clear liquid diet, I survived on alot of low sodium chicken broth, SF popsicles and SF jello.... but I was only on clear liquids for a few days.... then on to full liquids.... so I got to add in cream soups, runny oatmeal and runny mashed potatoes......  Hugs,

Welcome back Cameron!!!  Glad to see you riding the train with us today!! CONGRATS on the surgery cost being even lower than you anticipated.  That's always GREAT news!!  Wish I had some suggestions for the clear liquid diet, but I don't really.  I only had to do clear liquids when I was in the hospital so they made those decisions for me.  I remember broth being the main thing on the menu.  Once I went home, I had moved up to full liquids and that has a bigger better variety.   Hope all goes well withyour surgery!!  Will keep you in my prayers!!

Congrats about the upcoming surgery! My favorite thing was to take chicken noodle soup, drain the noodles out and drink the broth. Regular chicken broth tastes bad but this had the added fat and salt in- sure, not the healthiest, but certainly more palitable. I was on clear liquids more than a few days because of complications- for 2 weeks to be exact. So I ate ALOT of chicken broth.  Good luck and congrats on it being cheaper that originally thought! Now you can buy more clothes later down the road!

Good afternoon Sharyn!!! You are where I want to be in about 1.5 years.  I finally decided that I want to be a nurse when I grow up.  Only took me till I was almost 40 to decide.  Hmmmm...wonder how old I'll be when I'm finally grown up?  Do NOT answer that question......  Anyway....congrats on getting to go get all your "nursey" stuff!!  Sounds like lots of fun.   Congrats on the pounds gone!!  Keep it up!  You are doing great on PB!!  You can do it!! Enjoy the pool this afternoon!!!  Sounds like a lot of fun!!
