30 Day Challenge Day 21

Day 21...we're on the downhill slide of the challenge.

I had limited access to food yesterday...did pack a Fiber One bar and some almonds for snacking.  Had a hospitality room, but only ate sausage w/ minimal bread from kolache and small hmbg. patty, small bag chips and a cookie.  I drank 2 protein drinks, so got in plenty of protein.

I stepped on the scale this morning and it was -2 lbs.  I thought I did something wrong because I didn't think it was possible.  I stepped off, stepped back on again, and it was still there.

Rt. now I'm -11.4 lbs. so far.  I'm figuring the cookie and chips will hit in the morning combined w/ no Sat. exercise!  Maybe I'll have time today to get some in.

Today:
protein latte coffee
lots of liquids
EAS Advantedge protein drink
Chicken spaghetti/salad/garlic bread at lunch
beef quesadilla for supper

We can do it.  Everyone seems to be doing so well so far...accountability is the key for us, obviously...I want to post this everyday after the challenge...maybe calling it the daily challenge or something or accountability...what do ya'll think?  It's way too easy to hide what we're eating and ups and downs if we don't!

Week THREE is OVER!!!  We are headed into the last week of this challenge so it's time to PUSH for the finish line!!  I can't believe how well we've stuck to this challenge.  I'm so very proud of all of you for continuing on this quest with me.  I may not make all of my goals but I have certainly become MUCH more accountable and AWARE of what I put in my body every day.  If I have to RECORD it, I think twice about eating it.

Yesterday was another good one and the scale shows it.  I'm back down to my lowest.  I'm still not getting all of my water in and I think the reason is twofold: 1) I'm always COLD and just don't want to drink and 2) I'm too busy to stop and drink.  If I just sit around watching TV I can slam down the water but usually I'm off doing something.

Yesterday I didn't stick with my plan for dinner cuz my family poo-pooed grilled shrimp.  So we had goulash (made with hamb, tomato soup and shell pasta).  I tried to eat more of the meat than the pasta so I still THOUGHT about what the right choice was.

I just made a protein drink for breakfast and have a pot roast in the crock pot for dinner.  Lunch is up for grabs but I have good choices in the house.   Already took my vitamins and I'm drinking my first 32 oz glass right now.

Karla...I'm with you.  I definately want this to continue and between us, one of us should be able to start the thread each day.  ***To anyone lurking out there, PLEASE join us.  It's amazing the difference putting it in black and white (or purple) can make.***

Steph...I don't think all of us can thank you enough for rounding us up and getting us going...I think it would be great to post everyday...I know that when I don't post what I eat and own up to it, it's much easier to cheat and eat things I shouldn't  be eating.

Congrats on getting back to your lowest pt.  I am a ways from that, but will see it at some pt.

Scale is up 2lbs this morning. Puts me over goal. I did not eat all that much yesterday. I still think it's because i've not gone to the bathroom in several days. Will work on that first of next week. I did eat a lot of carbs yesterday. Made SF blueberry muffins. Today were going out to lunch after church. Going to try and stay away from the carbs and increase protein. Karla congrats 11lbs is awesome. And Steph congrats to getting back to your lowest wt. I've not accomplished all my goals but it has made me eat healthier and try to get in more protein.

Hugs,

Lynnette

morning everyone,

Weight wise I am in the range at 156.6, and that's amazing considering I ate CRAP all day.  Won't even right it down.  But I didn't eat a lot so maybe that made the difference.

We shopped last night and I found those stuffed chicken breasts from Sams, but sold at Walmart.  this one is stuffed with cranberry and pecan and something else.  Sounds really good, so I'm going to cook them up.

I do need to up my protein some and bring down the carbs even if they are good carbs.  My doctor appt is Thursday and i want to see my lowest of about 154 if it's possible.

Must run.. so proud of all of US for sticking with it!  Might need to do it again after this one..

Good morning!!!  So far this month I have lost 10lbs which is great since I kept bouncing around on my plateau for the 6 weeks prior!  Didn't record my food yesterday as we were out of town... in Garland all day for a cheer competition.  But didn't eat a lot... but food choices probably not the best either.  I drank an Oh yeah for breakfast and had a piece of cantalope and half a wrap (without the wrap) at Red Robin for lunch and cheeseburger without the bun at Mcdonalds for dinner on the way home.  Tomorrow is Cam's 10th birthday so I'm sure we will be eating Mexican food tomorrow night... my weakness!!!!!

Girl I'm 10 minutes from Garland!!  I could of met you for lunch.  (it's always food, isn't it, lol).  Great job on the 10 lbs.

On the mexican food thingy...Count out 10 chips tomorrow and savor every one.  Then move the basket to the opposite side of the table.  You can do it!!
