gas city
Good Morning to all -
I have a question - will this gas ever go away?????? It is horrible! I am taking Gas X as directed by my doctor but I swear it sounds and feels like there is a War taking place in my belly! LOL
I realize I am only 6 days post-op, but I am hoping this gas goes away soon!
Thanks for the replies -

My gas was so bad in my chest and upper back that I had to have my husband "burp" me (like a baby) several times a day to get it moving. I swear that's the only thing that worked. It's amazing the noise your tummy can make after this surgery but remember it's all worth it.

As one of the other folks said to me when I too asked this question ....... walk, walk, walk. That also helps move things along. It takes a bit for all the air they ballooned you up with for surgery to dissipate but walking will help.

"Life is 2 short to wake up w/regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget the one's who don't. Believe everything happens 4a reason.. If u get a 2nd chance, grab it w/both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."
