Back to the Basics
Ok, in about 1 month, 2-28, I will be 4 years out,
, wow, its been an interesting ride to say the least. Found the most wonderful woman in the world along the way, have a new daughter, its all good in Mr. Kimbles neighborhood, except.......... For the fact that I have allowed myself to put on 45 lbs in the last 9 months. I know, people say I get a pass because of the baby but I am calling horse**** on that myself. Heaviest weight was 425, lowest was 259, this morning was 304,
, So, I am still down 121 lbs, but in my book thats unacceptable. I have allowed myself to eat **** that I shouldnt, not exercise, blah blah blah. You get the picture? Yeah, that same ole pre surgery attitude. Well, this morning I started taking control of things again. Michelle and I started the 5 dpt. I know some of you think that its not a good thing to do but I am using it to break the carb cycle. I dont spend a whole lot of time on here anymore because I dont have a whole lot of time to spend. But, I just wanted to shoot out a warning to those that are just getting started in your journey. Dont ever take your tool for granted. You can deceive your tool or you can work it the way its supposed to be worked. Stick with the program.
Anyway, I just felt the need to post about that and share a little insight into a veterans struggles to maintain, wow, can I call myself a veteran?

I would like to help you but you cant fix stupid.
John, I have every confidence that you will be back on track in no time. I am 5 yrs out. I did get off track just like you did. BUT.. I am down an additional 38 lbs after I corrected my mistakes I was making. I did the sampling thing. My issue was just grazing period. I thought it was OK.. It catches up to... Like I have told some on here before, We need the newbies just as much as they need us oldies. I got back on track because of all my support group around me.
