Anybody got a back I can borrow?
My feet are tingling and fall asleep often. Saw a Doc on Saturday that thinks I may need intervention. He gave me a shot of antiinflamatory and steroid. Got the pain meds, have had them for years. He also gave me a muscle relaxer to keep me from getting deformed giving into the pain.
I see a pain doc on Thursday and the PCP is sending me to a Neurosurgeon.
I guess I should take this seriously, huh? Best part is I have slept really good lately.
Will keep you posted. Send up a prayer, or just send over that loaner back!
Be Kinder than Necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

So sorry to hear this Que. I'd lend ya mine but with 3 herniated discs you probably don't want mine either. Luckily, mine haven't bothered me too much since i lost the weight but the simplest thing will set it off. Thank God for my chiropractor. He's managed to keep me away from the surgeon many times over. It's a shame you're so far away cuz my hot tub is so helpful when mine's acting up.
One quick exercise I learned years ago really helps when mine is "out". Lie flat on your stomach on the floor (with your arms at your sides) for 2-3 minutes. Then raise up on your forearms/elbows for 2-3 minutes, then push up with your hands with your elbows locked until you're arching your back. That helps the disc to slide back in. Do it as often as you can until the pain is better. Hope it helps. Regardless, I got ya in my prayers.
