Nasty Ice in the DFW metroplex.  I was supposed to fly out yesterday, but my flight was cancelled and now I'm working from home this a.m. in Denton/Corinth area :)

It's 24 degrees and everything is covered in ICE in Rowlett.  I'm home, blazing fire in the fireplace, SF Hot cocoa in hand...all is well.

I thought about you earlier. My daughter said a student called trying to get to one of our classes in Rowlett and said he had been sitting in traffic for 3 hours. I figured he was on the bridge, but she said it was a bad wreck.

That is all they are showing in the DFW area on TV....bad wrecks everywhere.  I work for the Arlington ISD and all schools are closed here.  I have a fire in the fireplace and my protein coffee in hand!  I LOVE "snow ****)" days!

Be careful everyone!

Nope - as usual the Austinites worried way too much...Got down to mid 20's at my house (I live in the country - about 40 miles from Austin**** on the trees and the car windows....But nothing major.
Just darn cold....

Things are looking pretty good here in Crandall.  I am sure it was alot worse early this morning.  We just started classes at 10.  Thank goodness we didn't have a day off.  I HATE having to make up those days in June!!!LOL

plano/frisco was covered in ice when I came  home at 2 - who knew that driving 10-20 mph it would take me almost an hour to drive the 10 miles home - don't think I ever drove that slow for that long before in my life  - LOL

need to call the library and see what I can do since I did not get the teens movies turned in b/c the library parking lot was way way iced
Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

Pretty much nada here except for a few fly-overs where idiots got stuck and had to wait over an hour for the sand truck to get up there.  Geez. lol
