Back from the Dr...not good--Updated

I have trouble finding shoes too, and despise shoe shopping more than clothing shopping. Everything is either too narrow or too wide or too small or too big- its like I'm in between sizes!

Hey Jeri keep your head up, count your blessings and know it will all get better and of course follow what your Dr. says. Ditto on what everyone else says go do or buy something for yourself.
I will send prayers and the healing gennie your way in the mean time.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I had to go to a stronger one than Omniprozole for me- I take Aciphex. Hopefully it will work for you and you'll be better SOON. At least no scope right now.

Glad they found your problem and it is fixable.
Doesn't that coffee burn your stomach?
Even before surgery , coffee could give me the
worst indigestion-I guess it is acidic.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but have been dealing with my own stomach issues today!  I am so sorry that you got this news but like so many have said at least you found it in the early stages and hopfully the medication the doc has you on will work.  I'm here if I can help.  Love you!

Oh Jeri I hate this for you! I had an ulcer 2 weeks after my RNY and the meds helped! Still take Prevecaid 15 months later! Do what Doc tells you and you will get relief. Take care and be glad it is nothing worse!!

I hear ya about being picky!  I get so aggravated sometimes when I go shopping looking for something specific and can't find it because it "isn't in style".  And yet there are gazillions of selections I don't want that ALL LOOK THE SAME.
