Hobbies???
That is too wild. I was just thinking about you today. Good to see you posting. We will have to get together sometime and catch up.
As for hobbies, I had to think about it. Right now my main one would have to be exercise, running and just my weight loss in general. It takes up most of my time. I also like to play around on the computer in Facebook and on myspace. I love socializing and could make a hobby out of that when time permits. I love to read and recently have picked up several books I have been wanting to get around to and started reading them. One of these days I plan to follow through and start a book club. But I guess my main hobby has been and will probably always be my animals. Congrats on your new puppy! She sounds adorable.
I have my three dogs and cats plus my bird and my frog. Here lately I have been doing research on goat pens and rabbit hutches gearing up for the next phase of animal ownership. It is all very exciting to me and does help keep my mind occupied.
Being obsessive about logging my food also keeps me occupied and keeps me from eating things I know I shouldn't have. Something about seeing it in black and white makes a difference.
Anyway, good to see you on here. Like I said we will have to get together and catch up!
Love ya,
Jenn

Let's see - first, great thread and very interesting to read...
I'm probably a little boring compared to most but my hobbies are;
1) Reading - devour books, read 5 or more a week when traveling
2) Crochet - when home, I make blankets and since I stay so darned cold, this comes in handy.
3) Cross Stitch - make bookmarks for family/friends when traveling
It's kind of neat actually - the crochet and cross stitch have two benefits - one, keeps me occupied so I don't snack. Two - they are known stress reducers. Learned how to crochet when I was kid and developed hives from stress... A doctor recommended it and it was amazing how well it works.
So - the next time you're stressed, try doing something creative with your hands!
BTW-LOVE the bee story!!!! That is fascinating!
