30 Day Challenge Day 27
Day 27...wow...almost to the end of this challenge...gear up for a life-long daily challenge men & women (no John K....didn't leave you out, even though some of the ladies may have to do a "take down" on you for being able to lose 10 lbs. this week)!
Way to hang in there folks...we all have good days and bad days. 2 days ago was the perfect day...yesterday was the I had to get a blob of frozen snickerdoodle cookie from the freezer and eat it day! Bad Karla just came out again...at least I didn't go hog wild after that. I did have a buffalo chicken strip and 2 small potato skins (2" x 1.5") for dinner last night...that was the first bite of potato in 27 days and it really didn't taste that good.
Down 8 oz. this morning. I'm -12.4 for the 30 day challenge so far.
Today's plan:
protein latte coffee
lots of liquids
EaS Advantedge protein drink
1 c lf buttermilk
concession stand food for lunch or my trail mix...depends on what NCHS has!
eating out in Humble for dinner...will try to choose wisely.
Didn't exercise this morning, but did get in 5 days worth so far...Will gear up for it tomorrow morning. I did change sheets, work on laundry, wash dishes, and cook...does that count?

Morning, Karla! I was a bad girl yesterday & did not eat well. Pork rinds & popcorn (not at the same time-lol). Did get my protein in but not my water. So today I'm working on the water & not eating junk. Not normal for me to do that & I just need to knock it off. lol Otherwise I'm doing good. Weight today is 137.

Karla, I was running late this morning and didn't get a chance to log in before work Thanks for starting the thread.
I'm actually tied for my all time lowest again this morning~157.4 lbs which makes for a -4.8 loss so far. Unfortunately I'm thinking it has more to do with my Jason's Deli "clean you out" frozen yogurt than the exercise I've been doing at the gym, lol!! Either way I'll take it. The stupid number on the box will hopefully motivate me to keep pushing forward.
Plan for today:
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: steak and coleslaw
Snack: fresh strawberries and pineapple
Dinner: Grilled chicken and salad
Snack: SF/FF banana pudding

This week finally paid off.
i hopped on the scale this morning not expecting to see any difference...the scale said 170.6!!!!!!! That's 3 pounds this week!!! So, 1 pound the week before and 3 this week. That makes a total of 4 for these 27 days. Yay!!
So I am hoping to keep it up a little longer. I know it's only a 30 day challenge...but I'm extending it to my 1 year mark, February 9th. So I am down a total of 108 pounds total since surgery. Yippie!!
Okay, so today:
B- scrambled eggs with cheese wrapped ina slice of ham.

D- ??
Ha ha, very discriptive I know...I know it'll be good choices but I need to go shopping.
But I'll also get my water and vits in for sure too.

I can not believe our 30 challenge is coming to an end....what an amazing journey this has been!! I felt like a newbie all over again...LOL
So far my lost has been a solid 16 pounds!! OMG!! Really I just cut out the snacking through out the day and NO eating after 7:00 and NO snack after I take my lunesta!!!! 16 pounds OMG....I can go shopping in my closet again!!! LOL
Today not much on my to do list...I think I will go out and drop the taxes off at H/R Block and hope they can get it down no later than Monday..
I have to tally up our GS cookies to submitt to the bakery...I'm soooo proud only 4 boxes for our house!!!! Plus...I told the moms that they were going to have to STORE the boxes at one of their houses this year..
ALSO I did want to pass along; I any of you purchase GS cookies with PB they are safe, we go a big e-mail for counsil a couple of days ago. The only bad part this year is the cookie size has gotten smaller and there are 2-4 cookies short in some packages, this was done not to raise the price of the boxes of cookies....Okay enough about the cookies...enjoy them if you purchased them, if you did not YIPPPPEEEEEE will power!!! LOL

I finally broke 170!!! Hit my all time low of 169.5 (so far) and getting closer to my goal of 150!!!!
For the month, I"ve lost 5.5 lbs. total, have tracked what I ate (mostly) and worked out consistently. In fact, headed to the gym again this afternoon.
Food today;
B-egg beaters with cheese
S-Banana
L-Leftover Dickey's Brisket, Sausage and a few bites of potato
S-Orange
D-Dunno yet - probably salad with chicken, will see how many calories I have left or just a protein shake
Thanks for getting us rocking!
Oh - and tomorrow I'm headed to a SB party. Decided to take the bull by the horns and I'm bringing WLS friendly homemade Chili, tortillas, homemade salsa and Guacomole. Yes, I'll eat a few chips, but that's the only 'bad' thing I'll eat and I'll still track to be accountable for what I do eat.

Sounds like EVERYONE has had a great day yesterday and week! We are kicking butt, aren't we?
Yesterday was my first day on my ADD meds and wow what a difference in appetite. I had my usual english muffin with sausage patty and cheese about 9 and then when lunch rolled around I was not hungry. Had some soy chips (about 10) and some beets. Took the chicken home. For dinner I had some baked potato and porky beans. (Lord, why do I love those things now?) I honestly still wasnt hungry but knew I had to eat and chicken did not sound good at all.
So my results !!! 154.4 today.. WTH???
Yesterday I was 156.4
But I will take it and maybe maybe, fingers and toes crossed, this might be a way to get those last very few pounds off. It's 11:30 now and I am not the least bit hungry but I will eat that chicken for the protein.
So I see Steph has start another challenge thread. If it's just a way to be accountable, i'm all for it. Think we all could use it. Right?
