Saturday WLS Express
GOOD MORNING. Going to leave soon for RNS. Told the new gal I'd meet her there a bit early so she knew who she was looking for and she wouldn't be overwhelmed by the crowd. Its just me and Chris. She has a 9 year old son so he'll have a playmate!
We went to TGI Friday's last night. It was crowded but good. I had 2 mojitos-man that's good-thanks Loralea for letting me try yours the other night. I also had a parmesean encrusted chicken/sausage/cheese quesadilla that was quite yummy. Didn't eat it all of course- but knew it wouldn't do well as a left over so didn't bring the rest home. I'd been good all day so it was okay to splurge a little, every once in a while- esp with the drinks-at least they were on special!
Today my wonderful hubby has already steam cleaned the carpets and he's going to start working on the washing machine, which is leaking but we don't know why. Its only 2 years old and our house is the same age, so nothing should be worn out. His dad is coming over to help.
Prayers for healing for Que. Michelle and Vickie and everyone else that needs them. Steph-glad your mom is safe and warm, hope the trip back is okay, and that you get your surgery thing settled. Insurance-man, if I had a dollar for everytime I had to deal with them, I'd be a rich woman!!!
Chris and I walked yesterday at 5 with the neighbor kids-that was our special thing we had planned. Had fun. Then they came over and played the Wii for a bit.
Today, nothing else planned except we might go bowling today or tomorrow. Am seriously thinking about going tomorrow during super bowl- yes, I'm a spoil sport- I don'****ch football that much.

Well, I'm back among the working class stiffs (thank you, Lord!) I'm still working out the commute. I was on the road 4 hours Thursday. I tried a different route yesterday and reduced it to under 3 hours, so that's better. When they open 161 all the way, I think it will reduce it A LOT more, so I can't wait!
Once again, I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and good wishes. Y'all are the BEST!!!!! We still have lots more to pray for and support. Lots of prayers going up for those still looking for work.
The only agencies that actually got me interviews were K-Force and Agent HR, so those are the ones I recommend. Debbi Tank turned me onto a site that had a lot of opportunities, you all might try. It was lds.com.
