Who wants to start a new challenge?

The "30 day challenge" ends next week and Karla and I want to continue the thread.  My question is do you want to start a NEW challenge with new goals and a time limit or do you just want to do a daily thread.  Personally, I work best if I have a specific goal to work towards but I will go with what everyone wants to do.  If you want it to continue,  please post and let us know what you'd like to do.  We would love it if some new people would jump on board as well.  The more people that participate the better.

EDIT:  Ok let's come up with a name...it will start in Feb and end in March..."March into Spring"?  Come on, I'm not very creative, help!!

Hi Stephanie,

I missed out on the last one and would love to join the next one!  I just had my first Realize band fill and back to eating solids so I am ready to go!

Yeah a new person!!  Glad to have you.

Would you prefer a daily thread (no date/goals) or a specific challenge (like the 30 day) where we set a date and goals?  Your vote counts...let me know.

Since this will be my first challenge, I think I would do better with goals, but I will go with whatever the consensus is!

This should be fun!  I've never done a challenge before!

I would really like to join. The last time the thread was posted I was dealing with stricture #3 and in hospital so I couldn't join in.  Happy to report that this time GARTH fixed it I think. I have been three weeks and able to eat! OMG what an amazing feeling not to be scared every bite you take !!!! He is awesome !

Stephanie,
I haven't participated in this challenge, but I am doing the V-Day challenge on the main or RNY board...I can't remember which.

I'd be in.  I like the goals and accountability.  Would this be a daily check-in or weekly?  I see a daily post but haven't read the thread to know the content.

I don't "officially" weigh in every day, so would that kick me out?

Sara

I weighed 313 pounds on December 1, 2008 the day of my RNY surgery and have lost 81%
of my excess body weight to-date.                                        Current as of November 1, 2009
OH Mini-Challenge Goal for New Year's Day is 170 pounds. 11 pounds to go!

Sara, what we did last time was each person picked "individual" goals for THEM.  It might be to lose 5 lbs in 30 days or it might be to exercise 3 times a week, or drink 100 oz of water a day, or simply to maintain and not gain.  Whatever each individual needs to acomplish.  Each person posted his/her goals and then posted daily about how they were doing.  So you can always pick "lose 5 lbs in 30 days" as your goal but only weigh when you want to.  As long as you can post as to what you're doing to reach that goal.  Most of us post our menu plan for the day.  We would love to have you join us and won't kick you out for not weighing, lol.

Sounds ideal!  Count me in.

And March in to Spring works, too.
