Hey sweetie!! Congrats on your surgiversary--you've had quite a year!! I think we're all afraid of gaining the weight back and failing and I think it's a daily battle that we can never take the focus off of. That's what gets on my nerves--we can never stop thinking about it. BUT so far we're winning, right?? Way to go, girl! I'm so happy for you!!
Hugs,
Jeri
Congratulations!!!!! You have done GREAT and you should be very proud of yourself. That last 20 is hard because it doesn't take many extra calories every day to keep it on. Upping your exercise will help.
I just saw Dr. Garth a couple of weeks ago for my 6 month visit and he told me if I wanted to get the last 30-40 pounds off I would HAVE to exercise, but I already knew that.
As for maintenance - well, even normal thin women have to watch what they eat so we're no different in that respect. I have only known one woman who could eat anything she wanted in large quantities and never gain an ounce, so it is pretty rare. The other thin women I know eat very modestly and carefully and if the indulge, then they cut back for a few days to make up for it. The main thing is not let it go more than 5-10 pounds before it gets out of hand.

Mariana, wow already a year, it has flown by. Congrats on your success sweetie. The last 20 can still happen, stay focused on your choices and work your tool. Just remember even if you don't get to that ultimate number, you are still a success. Just believe in yourself and stay on top of the weight.......failure isn't an option for me I'll fight for the rest of my life to never, ever get back to obesity.
Again congrats!
Hugs,
Again congrats!
