30 Day Challenge Day 28
Stephanie...I saw your other post late last night, but was too pooped to post on anything. I think it's a great idea to do a monthly challenge instead of just the same old thing everyday. It will give us short term goals to reach.
Today, I was up 1.0 lb. Dang trail mix I made again...I guess the dry roasted pnuts have more sodium than I thought it did...I exercised yesterday morning...but did sit on my rear for 8 hours in a gym on the bleachers. Didn't do badly on eating out...had Jason's Deli turkey wrap for lunch w/ a few chips and didn't even fini**** For dinner I ate one Taco Cabana chicken enchilada, some beans, 2 bites of rice and a tortilla. Their enchiladas aren't very big. I didn't finish the bean/tortilla taco. Before bed however, I ate a snack size ziploc bag of trail mix! I guess that did it.
Way too much of it. I will not touch it today...that's my goal and I'm sticking to it.
Today:
protein coffee latte
lots of liquids
protein drink for lunch
lots more liquids
Superbowl party food for dinner...we're having chili...ham/cheese/gr. onion cheeseball, spinach dip, Mexican Casserole, mojitos, boiled shrimp, cake (I'll try to just eat non-sweet stuff), and whatever anyone else shows up with.
Already downed vits/supplements, working on protein coffee
Heading in a minute to meet family/friends in town at gym to work out.
Stephanie...you're doing great on your goals as is everyone else.
Mel...wow...you've rocked your world w/ your HUGE loss...way to go!
Everyone else is doing fantastic, too.
Better go load up in the car.

Hey Lady, we're posting at the same time again, lol. I had a great day yesterday. I ate according to plan, made good choices and drank my water. Didn't get any exercise since I worked for 12 hrs but surely that counts for something.
Yesterday I had a protein drink for breakfast, steak and coleslaw for lunch, dinner was 1/2 ham/cheese sandwich and a deviled egg. Snacks were protein bar and pretzels. Got in 114 gm of protein.
Today's plan:
Breakfast: Protein drink
Lunch: Steak and coleslaw
Dinner: ???
Packed healthy snacks for work so I have to make good choices.

Not sure if I'm ready for work tomorrow or not, gonna see how my days goes, Wal-mart wore me out and my body is telling me so!
Yesterday food wise was okay, still not that great! I think by the end of the day I has 1 bean & cheese burritto from taco bell, 2 servings of blackberries, and a handful of popcorn..(I was craving salt) that was it....
shopping was hard this morning, had list, but nothing was sounding good or looking good for that matter..LOL
Today, I am just going to rest and take it easy...plain and simple...might have the game on might not, I LOVE the steelers but need my rest more..LOL I did stay up last night and watch Mama Mia! Great show, however, Perce Brawson really should not sing...LOL

Hey Karla! Had an okay day yesterday eating wise...not much of an appetite so that really helps. I didn't get on the scale this morning so I don't know what my weight is.
Morning vitamins are in...don't know what my food plan is for the day yet. Need to get my mind in gear. I know I need to concentrate on water today. Go****er in yesterday but not my 100 oz.

Karla, I use a 1/4 measuring cup and scoop my trail mix into snack size baggies. That way I know exactly how much I'm eating. I have several bgged up at one time so I can grab and go if needed. I also put 11 pretzel crisps in a baggie cuz that's one serving too. If I don't do that, I know I'll eat the whole bag.

i guess it's morning. Stayed up and talked to my BFF Madelyn until 2am. now i'm up for church in a while.
Food apparently will no longer be a need as long as the meds keep doing what they are doing. And I am down another .4 pound. Saw 154.0 today, yesterday was 154.4. I was on a cleaning tangent yesterday morning and hadn't bothered to eat. then got a call to go out for the day. So i grabbed 1/2 cup of corn and off we went. No more food till I got home at 8pm when I made myself eat. had 2 tamales and some popcorn. Wow, not exactly high protein yesterday. I WILL do better today. going to fix myself a sausage cheese english muffin for breakfast in a few and EAT it even if i'm not hungry.
Don't know how long this will last. I promise I will be very aware of the protein and water and make sure I find a way to get it in. I am love the no hunger, but it could get out of hand.
