I havent' found any that I have really liked.  My surgeon recommends Upcal-D.  It;s a powder you mix in with your water or any drink.  It's not bad at all.  It doesn't have a taste.  You have to order it online though.  But for me it makes it much easier to get in the calcium that way.

I like the Twin Lab Calcium Citrate chewables from Vitamin Shoppe, but you are right - the wafers are huge and only have 250 mg in them.  But they taste good (to me) so I use them in the evenings.

I use the powdered UpCalD in the mornings in my cottage cheese - Teena is right - you can get it online and it is an easy and economical way to get your calcium in.
