Another surgery for Shawn-Marie
Yes, the road goes on forever and the party never ends. I will be going in to Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth on Thursday, May 6th for yet another surgery. In a CT Scan they discovered that I had a breakdown (fissure) in the line separating my bypass pouch from my remnant stomach and they are now communicating. So, we are fixing this bad puppy because I will not (I REPEAT, WILL NOT!) go back to where I was before. I am digging this being a smaller person thing and am not willing to give it up. Dr. Green said, as my gastric bypass was actually already a revision, he is going to do a partial gastrectomy and completely seperate the pouch from my remnant stomach...making them distant cousins to quote him. He is keeping me at least one night. I think I should get frequent flyer miles at Plaza. They all know me well around there.
