Austinites?

 Howdy y'all!  Glad to be in the company of so many Texans!

I usually post on the DS board since I'm leaning towards that WLS.  I'm pre-op...in Austin....but probably going to see Dr. Daryl Stewart.

Anyone in here from Austin?  It would be great to network!

Hey our weight is about the same and we have the same goal I think!  LOL  I have a co-worker from Hutto and almost bought a house out there but decided to stay here in Cedar Park.  How are things going with you so far?

I am in Taylor but work in Austin. I am part of a support group that a couple of us from tthe OH message board started that meets monthly at the Ikea in Round Rock. I will PM you the support group link. We would be glad to have another member join our little local support network.

There's a support group at IKEA??? I  IKEA and am there almost monthly.  My wife and I both had RNY and split the kiddie meatballs.    I would love to attend a support group.  PM me, too, please.

I am in Kyle, just 16 miles south of Austin.  I am almost 3 weeks post-op and would love to network with you.  My surgeon was Dr. Patel and I had the RNY done.  I am a member of his support group, but have not attended a physical meeting just the ones online.

I live in South Austin and I'm 4 months post-op. As of this morning I've lost 75.5 lbs!!!!

The support group that I attend is located at St. David's on I35 and 38th street.

Awesome Tee!!!  Congrats...  I work in South Austin, just west of the Y (290 and 71)!  I love the drive to work every morning.

  Live in Bastrop, work in Austin.

Live in Spicewood. I do not work - am a full time student. (But going to work in January at the jail in Burnet County as an alcohol/drug counselor.....)
