The Journey 11/6
I've been trying to pay attention to what I am doing when I reach for carbs, and yesterday, it was stress! I had my week all planned so that I could leave early on Friday, stop and have a good lunch, and get to the conference early. Instead, every obstacle you can imagine got in my way, and I ended up extremely harried and upset. Since I had not planned on eating lunch at work, I didn't have anything with me, and no time to get get anything, so I ended up eating one of those microwave macaroni and cheese cups! (and a mini bag of m&ms.)
Fortunately, they had a pretty good dinner for us at the conference, although I did not eat the chicken. I looked at it and thought, "That's not going down," so I ate roasted veggies and black beans.
Plan ahead! Allow for emergencies! I will do better today!!!!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
