Greetings everyone!  My name is Marci.  I came across your site while searching for a weight loss surgery support group in my area.  I had the RNY procedure done on 5-9-11 and have had a 21 lb loss in one month's time.  I started my weight loss journey on 1-24-11 and have lost a total of 69 lbs as of yesterday.

I have had my ups and downs and deal with them as they happen.  I am having a hard time with the vitamins but have found them in liquid form so hope this will be better.  A major change I can report is that I am freeeeeeeezing all the time!  This is pretty good with the Texas heat we have because the heat is not affecting me at all; it actually feels good to me.

I have joined a gym, LA Fitness in League City, and am going 5 times a week doing elliptical and do strength/toning every other day.  Today I am planning to enjoy the sauna afterwards and maybe some walking in their pool.

I am looking forward the getting together with a local support group I found on here that meets near my job in Pasadena and also look forward to connecting with some really great people as well.

MARCI-welcome to the TMB-and THANK YOU for telling us so much about yourself, with your first post-it really helps us get to know you. It sounds like you have had a GREAT start to your "lifetime journey" . I hope you find a personal support group you "click" with, as support is probably the most important element, the further out you get.
