I hope she won't mind me posting this, but Alissa just put on her FB that Bryan's mother has passed away very suddenly.  He was out of town on an assignment and is flying back home now.

We have SO many people in need of prayers and positive thoughts right now.  Please add them to your list.

Thank you sweetie! I appreciate it. Bryan's flight came in at 10:30pm last night. I spoke to his father about 10pm and got more information. They are going to do an autopsy but evidently she was walking with him to their truck and was fine one minute and on the ground the next unresponsive. They feel she threw a blood clot and either caused a massive heart attack or stroke. They were at Bryan's sister's house when this happened. She is a nurse so she started working on her mom right away, as did the paramedics, but there was no bringing her back unfortunately. Chris was pretty upset understandably.

Bryan will head to get his dad this morning and then get his sister and they will go to Weatherford, where the service will be held. She is from Weatherford and they hope to have the service in the church she was baptized and married in. Her brother from CA will be coming in so the funeral will most likely be Monday.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. We really appreciate it.

Certainly let Bryan know that we are praying........this has to be one of the hardest things that kids have to do  - is seeing our parents leave us.....when we've grown up knowing that they are always there for us or most usually are....((((((((Huggggsss))))))))))))
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.
