Call you state health care center. Every state has a program that helps with prescription coverage if you do not have health insurance. I was on it when I lost my job, you doctor prescribes three months at a time and you get it for FREE! I am so sorry and good luck!

I forgot to say.....if you had any type of headache with the nausea, it could be migraines. Did you feel like you wanted to pull all the shades down, have it be dark and just close your eyes???

The nausea and vomitting came first. I ended up getting a headache, but I'm pretty sure it was from throwing up. When it gets kinda violent, the blood vessels around my eyes burst, making it look like I have chicken pox, and that happened yesterday. As soon as I had stopped thrwoing up for a few hours, the headaches went away.

I'm so sorry you're still having all these problems. I just had a thought back to my many ER trips before I could get anybody to properly diagnose what we basically knew to be a failing gallbladder.

Question for the nurses here, do specialists not do on-call rotations for folks that go to the ER?? I just never understand, when someone goes in because they feel like death is upon them, why do the ER docs basically just band-aid the symptoms and send you home until you can get in to see a specialist. Which, btw, could possibly be a monthlong wait. BOO to the crappy medical system:(

Amen to that. I hate our healthcare system. I'm not rich enough for it to be affordable, but I have too much to qualify for help. Yesterday's trip alone probably cost me a couple thousand dollars!

Sorry you feel so crappy! BTW they said it was not gall bladder because it was on the wrong side but I have seen several people post here and they said it was their gall bladder and the pain was not in the area it should have been. Hope you find out soon what is up.

I feel so incredibly bad for you and what you are going through. I can't believe there wasno GI doc on rotation. Maybe because of the ER visit you can get an appointment sooner. Continuous prayers for a relieving resolution.
