Alex, great link, Thanks! i enjoyed the episode and watched a couple more on You Tube. Amazing how the same speices can run on such diverse fuel...LOL. Seriously though, it made me wonder about the effects of metabolism and metabolic syndrome. I know if my calories creep up to the 1100 range because of grazing or poor food choices, my weight loss will stop cold even though my calculated BMR is around 1500. At 6 month, I'm running consistantly around 700-800 calories a day to lose but wonder what I'll be able to eat to maintain. Lots to think about.... If it's the one I'm thinking about, an OH sleever is in this. She doesn't post a lot these days. Angel (I forget her user name). I saw an exerpt on her blog, a note from the producer/director when he came over from England to shoot with her. Here it is. http://www.fight4yourlifeonline.org/?p=267
Hey Alex, thanks for sharing. That was really something to see. I couldn't believe they said one thin girl was only eating 1700 cals a day? then the food in that shute thing, thats all she ate in a week? there was like nothing in there. Kinda shook me up a little :o( i'm sure i eat more than she did, and i'm trying to keep my calories under 1000 a day? very different prospective for me. I've never really looked at what thin people eat I really liked seeing that. Onward and downward :o) jeani
alex.... well i spent most of the day watching this ..... i think i watched 5 episodes. i went in to vsg with a bmi of 31 but i felt that i could relate to each one of the heavy weight. also i am 3 1/2 weeks out getting 500-600 cals per day . in the last week and a half i have lost and gained the same .5 lb....so how are these skinny people so skinny eating over 1200 cals per day??? thanks for the link...kelly
This is so cool! I watched parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5! *Giggles*
Now I can also say, in a British accent (not bad for being French! *Giggles*) that I've lost 5 stones and 13 pounds. One more pound and I'll have lost 6 stones! How educational is that? *Giggles*
Although I don't know if 5 stones and 13 pounds sounds any better than 83 pounds? I think I like our way better! *Winks*
