I still have 5 days left of full liquids. I'm so sick of drinking the same thing over and over again. What can I do to get threw the next 5 days......

What do you mean by full liquids? All of our programs are so different, I just want to make sure I am thinking correctly. The one thing that saved me on liquids was strained soup. That gave me plenty of flavors and I didn't have to have the same thing each day. I also drank a lot of different teas, and V-8 V-Fusion juice. I cannot have fruit juices anymore so this was a good little treat.

It will pass quickly. Think of it one day at a time instead of thinking about 5 more days.

Soup was my savior!! I am NOT a sweets person, so protein drinks were complete torture for me. Soup made with high-protein milk. And - I drank a lot of plain milk. Not sure they have them there, but if you have a Braum's near you, their skim milk has 13g protein per cup. I'm sure there is other high-protein milk - you just have to find it. Good luck! It's ALMOST OVER!!!

I remember those days and it was really hard.  I got tired of beef and chicken broth so I went to my local thai food restaurant and asked them for the broth they use for the Tom Yum soup, it's a lime and lemongrass based broth and a very nice change. I think I had to strain it because it had bits of lemongrass, cut it was worth the effort.  Yum.
The other thing I did was the Citris Mist Sierra Mist soda but I added a single serve packet of the fruit punch  (like crystal light, but walmart brand).  It changed things up for a different flavor.
I don't know if you're on clear liquids yet, but carnation instant breakfast, blend with milk and some ice for a milkshake.
Good luck with surgery, these times will be over soon and you'll reap the rewards for your efforts.
